"Rye? Please put the book down. You've been in it all day!" I said as I tired to pry the book out of his hands.
Bad idea.
"I'm almost finished hold on." Rye replied pushing me away.
I huffed.
"Rye." I whined.
No response.
"Fine, be that way." I said in a huff then walked out and went to my room.
I sat down on my bed opening my laptop.
Rye always in his free time has a book in his face.
"Calm down. I'm the same way." Mikey said chuckling.
"No! I can't calm down! Like, hello all fucking day!" I yelled annoyed at the fact that I really haven't gotten attention.
I know sounds selfish but I'm not, I just like being in Rye's embrace.

An hour went by and then I finally heard Rye's door open.
'Finally.' I thought to myself.
He walked in and climbed into bed with me.
"I'm sorry I've been ignoring you. I was doing something, for you." Rye said.
It was hard to stay mad at Rye.
I finally gave up and then said it was okay and then kissed him.
"I didn't know how to give you this, that's why I've been in my room all day." Rye finally said kissing the side of my head.
"Give me what?" I asked confused.
"This." Rye said pulling a small velvet box out of his pocket.
The flat then got quiet. All the boys were in the "living room" because we were just hanging out.
"Rye." I choked.
He softly smiled.
I opened the box and saw the ring.
It was my size, it had my name and his name on it, then in hearts the our birthstones and then inside the dare we got together.
"I couldn't think of how to give it to you." Rye said softly.
"Is this?" I asked but only cut off by rye.
"It's a promise ring." Rye said.
I didn't know what to say.
"If you don't like it then it's okay b-" I was the one to cut him off this time.
"I love it Rye. Don't worry okay? It's beautiful." I said as I was on the verge of happy tears.
He smiled and giggled in relief kissing me softly.
"I love you." Rye said sliding the ring onto my finger.
"I love you too Babe." I replied kissing him and enjoying the rest of the night.
