Rye's POV

I was skeptical about what we were doing and at this moment Andy was trying to convince me.

"Ryan please. She can't raise a child with that condition. I feel like we should step In and adopt her. She has blood to me! But she won't have to know that." Andy said.

"Andy. Calm down. I don't know. With as much stuff as we are doing with the band.." I replied trailing off.

"I promise it will pay off. I promise.l Andy said with a plea In his voice.

I thought on it.

"Fine." I said getting up and putting my shoes on.

We drive to the hospital and were greeted by the child services officers. 

"Andy And Rye Fowler right?" The female officer asked.

"That's us." We replies in sync.

"So I guess you said yes after all? I'm glad that she will be in good hands." The officer said as she guided us to the nursery where all the babies were sleeping.

"She's right there." The officer said pointing to the far right.

Me and Andy went up to the window and saw her.

I had tears In my eyes.

"I told you it would pay off." Andy said as he put an arm around me and placing his head on my shoulder.

"I can't believe we are gonna be dad." I replied.

Andy smiled.

"What do you want to name her?" Andy asked.

"Something That has meaning to what has happened now." I relied thinking on what I could name her.

Then I thought of an old memory of when me and Andy went on our first date.

"August. Let's name her August. It's the month we went on our first date and the month you proposed to me and the month we got married." I said as I put my hand up to the window.

"It perfect." Andy said as he left a lingering kiss on my cheek.

"Can I hold her now?" I asked to myself.

"You can." A nurse said with August in her arms. I don't realize she was taken out of the room and taken to us.

I took her into my arms. She was so precious. I sat down with her in my arms with tears of happiness never knowing that If Andy didn't convince me then I wouldn't be here at the moment.

"She's perfect." Andy said as he came up behind me and hugged me and August.

"She is. She can't be replaced. I know that for a fact." I replied as I looked up and saw the rest of the band coming towards us with a big smile.

"Congrats guys. If you ever need time with her let me know and I'll give it to you." Blair said patting us on the back.

I didn't say anything but just sat there looking at August but eventually handed her off to Andy. We stayed at the hospital for getting her birth certificate and stuff then headed home with our new daughter.

Back at Rye and Andy's House
Andy's POV

The day was So tiring for me and and Rye but luckily August was a quiet baby. She didn't cry or whine a lot like Normal babies do. I just put August down for a nap because Rye was the one who was taking care of her all day. I walked downstairs to see Rye passed out on the couch. I giggled.

"Babe wake up. Why don't you go to our bed. I'll stay up with August when she needs it." I said.

Rye woke up and reluctantly agreed to go to the bed.

She was quiet for the night so I went to bed. Rye wrapped his arms around my waist when I got into the bed.
"Thank you." Rye said sounding muffled because his head was in the back of my neck.

"For what?" I said Turing around.

"For convincing me too adopt August." Rye replied.

"It's nothing." I replied Turing around and kissing him on the nose.

"Go to bed. You've been up all day with August." I continued.

"Good idea." Rye Replied once again as he wrapped his arms around me before falling asleep again.
