no matter when you'd see zion, there was always an unexplainable happiness and joy that you felt. you could've seen him the day before and you'd still feel the same way.

and that's exactly how you felt now.

parking your car in the driveway, you grabbed your bag as well as the shopping bag from the passenger seat and made your way inside.

when you got inside, it was dark and there was a strange tension in the air. the vibe in the house was different and it made you uneasy.

"zion?" you called out while cautiously setting your things down.

there was no answer.

walking into the kitchen, the sight you saw was one that made you want to throw up. there was so much of it. blood everywhere.

"y/n you need to leave" zion looked up while attempting to clean up the blood spilled on the wooden floor.

"what did you do?" you didn't know what to do. it was too much to process and take in.

"you need to go" he sounded angry yet scared at the same time.

but how could you leave? zion was trying to clean up blood off the floor while there was a body no less than 2 metres from your feet. shock spread through your body like a flame to dry grass and you had no idea what to do.

"zion-"

"stop y/n. don't come any closer" you stopped inching forward, your eyes glued to the dead body.

"i can't leave zion. how am i suppose to?" zion stopped. dropping the cloth to the floor and you couldn't help but notice his blood covered hands and clothes.

"fine just get the bleach" you weren't sure if you heard right but you assumed you did.

going around the other way to get the bleach so you wouldn't make things messier you couldn't help but think of what would happen if anyone were to find out.

the boys were out for the weekend so there was no way for them to find out but there was that lingering doubt that someone would. there was so much things racing through your mind and it scared you. really scared you.

you grabbed the bleach, unscrewing the cap and pouring it on the floor. you took your jersey off your body and got down next to zion. you helped him clean up the blood and the smell of bleach and blood engulfed your senses in the most negative way possible.

"ride or die. i'm here no matter what" you managed to choke out.

the situation and moment was scary and filled with the unknown but some how for whatever reason why, you wanted zion to know that you'll be there for him. no matter what.

"ride or die baby girl"
