Kat's POV In Pax East building.

Agh! I can't find Adam anywhere! How am I supposed to tell him that I'm related to him now! Then I heard my stomach growl. I was a bird still so I was able to fly around inside the building. I spotted the cafeteria and decided to look for something to just pick up off the ground and eat. I was a bird after all. As I flew closer to the ground I saw a familiar woman sitting down at a table alone and looking at her phone. I flew closer to get a better look. Oh my god. It was Alesa! (Adams gf) what if I couldn't findAdam in time before Pax closed? Alesa was my best chance. I was going to greet her when I realized something. I would have to show her my powers. My mind raced with terrible thoughts. The only person who knew about my powers was Sam. God I miss my best friend. She would know what to do. My only option was to tell Alesa. I landed on her shoulder. She looked up from her phone and saw me.

"Hey what are you doing inside?" She was even sweeter in person! Alesa looked around till she spotted a window by the women's bathroom.

"Come on. I'll take you outside." Alesa took me off her shoulder and brought me to the window. Now was my chance. I flew off her hands and went into the bathroom. Perfect, no one was in here. Alesa came in and saw me on the ground.

"Don't you want to go back outside?" She looked so confused. Well she was going to be even more confused when I do this. I changed back into human form.

"Wh...what?" Alesa stuttered. She looked terrified.

"Alesa wait. I can explain."

"How do you know my name? And what are you?"

"Let's just say I'm a fan and....." I hesitated before I said it. "I'm a witch. But the good kind! I won't hurt you, promise."

"How can I trust you?" Alesa said.

"Cause I'm Adams cousin." Well that was easy to say. (Get it? Ha ha...no? Ok nevermind)

"Ok now I'm just going crazy."

"You're not crazy. It's true, look." I took my laptop out of my backpack and showed her the family tree.

"So your name is Kat Marlin?. How come Adam has never mentioned you to me?" Alesa said. She was still not sure about me.

"Adam probably doesn't even know. I didn't know till this morning." I started to cry. Adam was probably just gunna think of me as another fan.

"Come here Kat." Alesa said as she hugged me. "Can you tell me about yourself?" She asked. I nodded and told her my story.

I had stopped crying and I was surprised Alesa listened to everything I said. We went and sat down where Alesa was sitting before. We started asking questions until she asked one that made me blush.

"So do you have a crush on anyone?" Alesa asked, smirking. I started to blush

"Maybe." Ok I was blushing a lot now and Alesa saw it.

"Oh! Who is it?"

"Um...Tyler." Ok my face was probably as read as a tomato now. (A/N pretended Shelby and Tyler aren't together)

"You like Munchingbrotato?!" She started to laugh, but in a joking way. I punched her lightly in the shoulder.

"Ow! Hey you two would go great together!"

"Really?"

"Yea!" Alesa said. Then her phone went off and she looked at it to see who texted her.

"Oh no." She said with a worried look on her face.

"What!"

"Adam is going to be done with the panel it 15 minutes and he said he would meet me at the car. Then we are going to our hotel."
