Ch. 11

Sam's POV

"Here we are!" Alesa said as we walked into the café. I saw Jamie sitting at a table motioning me to come over.

"And there's Jamie!" I calmly walked over to him.

"Hey." He said. Why does he have to be so cute? I...I mean, oh forget it.

"Hi." I said still trying to stay cool.

"Stay here while I go get us something to eat. Ok?"

"Ok, thanks." I sat down while Jamie went to get food. A few minutes later he came back with some pizza and two sodas.

"Here you go." He said, handing me my soda and some pizza.

"Thanks." Jamie sat down and we began to talk. Surprisingly, he seemed to be exactly like me. Then I saw Adam and Kat walking over and sitting next to Alesa. Well I can see Adam isn't happy. My head snapped back into reality.

"So how are your parents?" I winced as terrible thoughts ran through my head. The only one who knows my backstory is Kat.

"They're dead." I said, trying to hold back the tears.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring it up."

"No no. It's fine. I can tell you the story."

"Oh you don't have to if it makes you uncomfortable."

"No I need to tell someone. Now listen." Jamie moved his seat closer to me. Yea, I'm gunna lose it.

"I was little about 6 or 7 years old. Both my parents were cops the best in the business I might add no one messed with them. I always wanted to be a cop just like them take on their legacy you know. I never knew how dangerous it was, you see my parents were being hunted by the best in business on the villain side it's ironic cause they were hunting them." I let a shaky humorous laugh. Jamie's a really good listener too,it helps. I continue "No one was expecting the attack much less the betrayer. Great now this sounds like Harry Potter. Anyway my dad's old partner before my mom was a backstabbing little asshat told them where we live and everything too. I wasn't home when it happened I was at my grandparents' for the weekend and boom our house exploded taking the life of the killers idiots, my dad's old partner, my mom, my dad, and my little 2 year old brother John. I was taken to the orphanage. Every time someone came to adopt I'd hide, then Kat came. She's the only person I've ever really trusted since." Jamie hugs me.

"You can trust me Sam I promise." I smile.

"I know and I've accepted to trust you." After I said that, Adam giving Jamie the death stare. If looks could kill Jamie he would be dead over and over again. I almost laugh. Adam's acting like a protective father but more like brother cause it's weird to think of him as a dad cause when I was born when he was like 7 years old.

Oh yea I just remembered it's almost Kat's birthday I need to invite Jamie to her surprise party.

"Jamie?" I say.

"Yea?"

"So Kat's turning 17 in a week. Wanna come to her party?"

"I'd love too. And I'll come early to help you set up." He says and smiles brightly .

"Oh my God your amazing. Here I'll give u my number so we can stay in touch." He gives me his phone I type in my number.

"So I'll text you?" He asks.

"You better." I say we wave goodbye and I half run, half skip to Kat.

Kat's POV

"Well it looks like your date went well." I said to Sam as she half ran, half skipped to me.

"Oh shut up!" She said as she sat down next to me.

"How about we go walk around?" Alesa suggested.

"Sounds like a good idea to me." I didn't really get to look around yet.

"Then let's go!" Adam said, getting up and starting to walk out of the café. We followed him. This is gunna be fun.

~Time Skip~

After walking about for an half an hour, we started to get bored.

"Wanna see if we can find Tyler? I haven't talked to him all day." Adam suggested.

"You mean MunchingBrotato, right?" Why Sam? Why?

"Yup. I'll text him." Alesa took out her phone and texted Tyler. All I could think of was meeting my second favorite youtuber and crush.

"He's near the Twitch booth."

"Ok. To the Twitch booth!" Adam started marching off.

<At the Twitch Booth>

When we got there there were a lot of people waiting for things to be signed. I tried to spot Tyler in the crowd, but I couldn't see him.

"Isn't that him next to the wall?" Sam said.

"Yup. And Kyle and Shelby are there too." Adam said. I couldn't move from my spot. If you don't know I'm shy. Especially if it's around someone I like. Sam rolled here eyes and started dragging me over.

"Hey Adam!" Tyler said.

"Hey! How are you guys doing?"

"Good. We've been hugged to death, but we're good." Kyle said. I saw Tyler look at me for a minute. He must've realized because he looked back at Adam. I blushed.

"Who are these two?" Shelby said, pointing at us.

"I'm Sam and this is Kat." Sam nudged me.

"Hi." I said nervously. Tyler looked back at me and smiled.

"Nice to meet you." The three said in unison.

"Kat's my cousin and Sam is her best friend."

"I didn't know you had another cousin?" Kyle said.

"Well we kinda figured out a few days ago."

"Cool." Shelby said. Tyler and I kept looking at each other. Does he like me?

"So we were going to go back to our hotel. Wanna come hang out?" Alesa offered.

"Sure." Tyler said and he walked beside me as we went out of the building.

A/N

Haii peoples. So Sam and Jamie have something going on! Yay!!! And Adam's trying to be a good dad! Yay!!! Now the question is, does Tyler like Kat?! Find out soon!!! Yea I should stop.

I would like to add that Sam's POV are going to be written by my friend Sam sometimes, just wanna let you know. (I wanna give credit to the people who help)
