Kat's POV
My head felt like it cracked open as I hit the cement. My probably injured arm (again), screamed in pain. I slowly pushed myself against the slightly, colder wall.
"Don't expect any food anytime soon." Jace spat as he slammed the cell door shut. I put my good arm behind my back.
"I wouldn't expect anything that generous from him. Especially not from you." He smirked with pleasure from my insult. I kept the fire burning inside me down. Im not sure when I'm going to need magic again.
"Oh you guys are so gullible. It's hilarious."
"Then why did you hang out with us? Why did you fall for Sam?" Jace looked at me and laughed.
"You think I would ever fall for a mundane?"
"She's not a mundane..." My hand grew colder every second.
"She has no real shadowhunter blood. Her ability was given to her by you." I had enough win him. I threw my ice ball at his face and his whole body froze. With help of teleportation, I stood in front of him and smiled.
"What's so wrong with me making her a shadowhunter?" Jace winced and spoke quietly with a bit of nervousness in his voice.
"It's against the Clave and all shadowhunters."
"Well guess what?" His eyes struggled to close. Apparently he thought he knew what was going to happen next. Sadly he was wrong.
"I'm a witch that can take you and your boss down. With Sam as a shadowhunter by my side, there's nothing you can do to stop us." I broke my spell and was instantly thrown to the ground.
"You have no idea what your up against." Jace put a rune on the door and 3 locks appeared.
"Try me." He rolled his eyes and walked away. Leaving me all alone in my dark cell. There was probably a spell on it so I couldn't escape so there was no use in wasting magic. So I just sat there staring at my reflection in the dirty mirror in front of me.
I can't believe I fell right into his trap.
Sam's POV
"SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT....."
"Are you done?"
"SHHHHHIIIIIIIT." Tyler rolled his eyes as I had my hissy fit. Honestly there was no one else to blame but myself for this. I should've never trusted Jace.
"Sam I know your upset and feel betrayed, but believe me your not the only one." I winced as Alesa rested her hand on my shoulder. My brain kept telling me to break down and cry while my soul was trying to stand tall and suffer through this mess.
"We all fell for this b*stard's trick..." Adams mumbled in his corner of their cell. The boys were sharing a cell while Alesa and I shared one. I'm just glad they put us next to each other.
"I wish we knew where Kat was." Tyler held his head in his hands as he sat up against the wall. My grip on the cell door tightened.
"We all do." Alesa said, trying to calm me down. All of a sudden the devil came in.
"Oh why are you guys so sad? I thought you would like your cells next to each other."
"Shut the hell up Jace."
"Samantha there is no reason why you should act that rude." Jace raised my chin to look at me and I couldn't help but stare. His once beautiful, golden eyes, where now dark and cold ones.
"Love is such a waste of time." He dropped my head like I was some rag doll and let my chin hit a bar. I flew back in pain and was lucky Alesa was there to catch me.
"Screw off." Adam spoke once again from his corner.
"M, my, my. Such rudeness!"
The room went silent as all eyes stared angrily at Jace. He shifted uncomfortably and moved to the next cell.
"Where's Kat." Tyler growled. Jace stood bolder, knowing that he was just a nerd that couldn't do anything to him.
"Oh she's just in another cell room. No need to worry. He won't kill her anytime soon." Suddenly, Jace squeaked as Tyler took hold of his shirt through the bars. That's not something you see everyday.
"Sam stop squirming I'm try to wipe some blood off your chin." Alesa whispered. I didn't even realize I was bleeding until now. I relaxed and let her do her work as I watched Tyler hold Jace slightly higher than usual.
"Look pretty boy. If one thing happens to Kat your dead. This isn't only a threat from me, but from all of us."
"We will take you and your boss down!" I yelled, pumping my fist up in the air. Alesa and Tyler joined me as Jace took a step back. Adam got out of his corner finally and stood in front of the cell door.
"Be afraid you little blonde b*tch." That may have been a little excessive but it shut Jace right up.
"You all will fall! Each and every one of you!" He walked out of sight leaving us alone again.
"Guys?" I heard a faint voice say from far away on the other side of this large prison.
"What the?" Tyler cleaned his glasses and took a further look down the dark hallway-thing. Alesa sat me up and put the bloody napkin in her pocket.(how convenient)
"Hello?" I said. Suddenly bright orange flames blew up inside the once, dark cell.
"Kat!"
