Ch. 13

Adam's POV (surprise!)

"Tyler come here!" Kyle yelled from the other end of the pool. We were planning a prank. Sam was going to pop up from behind and scare him. I saw Tyler talking to Kat though. He better not think about it. I think she isn't old enough to date yet, and Tyler's 18. Sam isn't old enough either.

After they were done talking, he started to swim over. Kat sat and watched. We all got into our places for the prank. All of a sudden I heard a scream from the other end of the pool.

Kat.....

Tyler's POV

I turned around and saw that Kat had fallen in. She also didn't come up to the surface right away. I swam to her and pulled her up out out of the water. She was unconscious.

It's feels like it was my fault. I should've stayed with her. I turned around to see Sam standing there, shocked.

"Kat, no." She sat down next to her.

"What happened." Sam gave me a death glare.

"I..I don't know. I started to swim to you guys when I saw her fall. Nothing was behind her. I...is she ok?"

"I think so. We just have to wait and see if she wakes up." I felt dead inside. If she is dead, I didn't get the chance to tell her I loved her.

"Is she ok?!" Adam asked. He looked as if he was going to cry. Kat was the only cousin that liked him of course.

"I think so." Sam said again.

"We should take her to the hospital." I said. Sam snapped.

"No, she's fine. All she needs is rest." She started to walk out of the pool area.

"What's her problem?" Kyle said.

"She's just stressed. Kat is her best friend of course. Now let's get her back to the room." Alesa said as she followed Sam. I picked Kat up, bridal style, and folled them. I hope she is ok.

Sam's POV

I was supposed to protect her. Make sure she didn't go back in the water. What kind of friend am I? And Tyler. Yea I know he likes Kat and wants to know if is ok but, she can't go to the hospital. It's too dangerous. There is magic in her blood and if people ever found out, she could be dead. I just hope Kat's ok.
