Ch. 37

Sam Pov

I hear the door open and footsteps walk into the room. "Look lady, I told already I won't let you run anymore tests, I'm perfectly fine. Ok?"

"Well that's great news" Wait, that's not the nurse's voice, it's Jace's. Oh am I gonna have some fun with him. I open my eyes and study him, hopefully with a curious look on my face. From the look on Tyler's face I'd say I'm doing an excellent job.

"Um not to be rude or anything, but do I know you...Blondie?"

"Yea, it's me, Jace" I laugh at that.

"Kat put you up to this didn't she? Look Mr.Actor dude, I know Jace Herondale isn't real. And if he was he wouldn't know me. But anyway he's just a book character, I know this is her way to make me realize that, but I already do, so how much does she owe you, I'll pay I guess" He gives me a weird look, then looks to Tyler.

"She still hasn't gotten all the memories back?" I give Tyler I warning look, if he says anything I will mess that boy up. He gets my message and shakes his head.

"Nope" he says popping the 'p'.

"Then I'll just make her remember" Huh? How does he think he's going to do that?

Jace walks up to me, puts his hands on either side of me head. And kisses me, firmly, but passionately. I hear I gag and a giggle from the background. Giggle? Since when did Tyler giggle. I pull away and start laughing.

"W-what??" Jace asks.

"You actually fell for it!" I laugh at him.

"She totally got you!" Says Kat. Oh she's the one that giggled. Wait, when did she get here? Huh aren't I oblivious.

"THE MANGO QUEEN STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!!" I scream.

"ALL HAIL THE MANGO QUEEN!" Kat shouts. We all fall into fits of laughter.

Clap.Clap.Clap.

We all turn around to see a cloaked figure. I immediately go to grab my blade, but, oh shit, I dropped it when the bomb went off. I look at Jace and he nods, grabbing his own, while handing me one. "Gabriel" I whisper and my blade lights up. I jump on top of the bed, in fighting stance. Jace and I are standing in front of Kat and Tyler, kinda as a shield.

"Y-your the one who pushed me into the water that day!" Kat says from behind me. And that's all it took, I lunged at the figure. My blade aiming straight for the heart.

Kat's POV

Sam lunged at the figure, but was thrown back by a strong gust of wind. Luckily, Jace was there to catch her.

"How did you do that?" He says. I could here the anger in his voice, which wasn't usual for Jace.

The figure turned toward me. Immediately I got into a fighting stance. (training from Sam)

"Show me what you can do." The person whispered. I smirked and froze their feet. Then I turned into a poisonous snake, but I was blinded by fog.

"You have great power." I heard a voice behind me but nothing was there.

"But you need more control." I turned back into my normal form and teleported next to the figure.

"Says the one who can't control the fog." Before they could turn around I burst into flames, burning the clock that surrounded them.

"Kat?" Tyler said next to me. The fog cleared and revealed a woman laying on the ground.

"What the hell did you do?"

"I may have burned her a little bit."

"A little bit?" Tyler pointed to the little pieces of the cloak on the ground. I smiled guiltily and he shook his head.

I looked over and saw Sam in her bed again with Jace by her side. Aww, how cute.

"Kat, stop fangirling." He shot a glance at me. Tyler's hand grabbed my shoulder. I rolled my eyes but realized what he was actually grabbing me for.

"Very....good." The woman said breathlessly. I stepped back cautiously.

"Who are you?"

"You don't remember? I was here when you first came in." That's when I remembered. She was the nurse who gave me the shot to hide my magic.

"Tyler you can let go now." I said softly to him. He looked at me to make sure I knew what I was doing and let go.

"You said you knew things about my parents."

"Yes. They were good friends of mine." She smiled.

"Please tell us how you were connected exactly?" Tyler said behind me. He reminds me of Adam when he was a bit over protective when we were first going out.

"I was in a group of witches and wizards with your parents. We all had one original power that belonged to us." She held out a locket with a storm cloud on it.

"Yours is storm?" I said.

"Yes. Our other member had the power of life, your father ice, and your mother-"

"Fire." I cut her off. My mind was racing. How do I have all these powers together?

"Um I have a question." We all turned to Jace who was raising his hand.

"Yes?" The woman smiled. Jace looked at her like she was crazy but carried on.

"What did you do to Sam?"

"Oh don't worry about your girlfriend. She just got hit a little too hard when I threw her back. She will be up soon. Oh and I'm sorry about that. I may have done that a little too hard." Jace's face went red when she mentioned girlfriend. Tyler and I giggled while he gave us a dirty look.

"Well I should get going. I have things to get to." The woman pulled another cloak out of her purse and put it around her.

"Wait!" I grabbed her shoulder. She turned to look at me.

"I never got your name."

"Martha. Don't worry Katherine, you will remember me more soon." Then she disappeared.

Yea, yea. I know it's been a while. Hopefully I can update more since I'm on winter break. I hate writers block.
