Ch. 45

Kat's POV
So we are stuck in a dungeon with occasional gross food and water. Sounds like your ordinary action story.

"Uuugh. This taste like rotten meatloaf." Tyler whined. I rolled my eyes and stared into the darkness with my mind still set on what happening to Sam from beyond that mysterious door.

"Kat I'm sorry for yelling at you." Adam spoke up. I looked over and saw him looking at me with fearful, sad eyes.

"When was this?"

"I yelled at you and told you to leave and I slapped Sam I'm so sorry. We probably wouldn't even be here if we stayed together."

"I know you were under a spell, but none of this is your fault. I'm the one he wants. Not you guys." Everyone was silent. Nothing could cheer us up, I mean who wants to be locked away in an evil wizard's place and hope he doesn't kill you?

"Let go of me!" Sam was thrown into her cell by Jace. I scanned her and saw no wounds or anything. The thing that was strange though was that there was an unusual strong force of dark magic. Must be Jace.

"He will kill you next time." He said with a smirk as he locked the cell door.

"Sam what happened?" I said just after Jace left the room.

"Nothing. They just tried to get me to side with them." Sam smirked and laid her head back against the wall. For some strange reason Jace put her in a different cell between Alesa and me.

"You didn't right?" Tyler said holding the bars.

"Of course not you idiot. If I did there's a good chance I wouldn't be in this cell right now, but I am. And I'm not a backstabber, jeez" Sam sassed.

"Sammy Wammy Sass Master is in the house y'all" Adam whispered from his cell.

Sam POV

For a couple of nerds, they weren't too smart, the whole thing was staged and they bought it. Jace 'throws' me into one of the empty cells, I tell them what went on and lose all of their suspicion. Then I find out their plan to try to escape, key word 'try', they weren't going to get past 2 top notch shadowhunters like myself and Jace. Even if they were to able to get past us, Kat would never have the heart to blast us, her kindness is going to be her doom.

I never realized how good it feels to be bad, I've played for the good guys long enough, it nice to live a life on the other side.

"Hey Sam?"

"What?" I said with a little to much anger in my voice. I turned toward Tyler who called my name and hoped no one heard the way I said that. The last thing I need is for them to realize I'm with the 'bad guys'.

"Do you know what's going on? I mean Jace said 'next time he would kill you' meaning that wizard guy right?"

"Sorry but all I know is that that asshat is hungry for power and I think we all know where that power is coming from." I said. Honestly that was the actual truth but I knew more and I wasn't ready to let these idiots ruin Master's plan. Kat moved back knowing that I was talking about her and I couldn't help but smirk.

"Guys we need to get out of here." Alesa said, standing up with urgency.

"No, really I hadn't noticed." Adam said but immediately said he was sorry when Alesa gave him an angry look.

"No I'm serious I know how to get out of this hell hole." Everyone's head perked up including mine. I was curious to know how the hell they were going to get past us.

"Well... Spit it out!" Tyler said, holding the bars that separated his and Alesa's cells.

"Jace."

"What?" We said in unison.

"That's one hell of a plan Alesa." I sassed. She looked at me and gave a small chuckle. Confused, I slowly scooted away from her cell.

"Jace knows how to open the doors, he has done the spell before."

"Spell?" Kat spoke up. I smiled, for I knew the spell. It was from the magic the Master granted us, controlled by our steles.

"He used the spell last time the two of you fought. Except he put a double locking system on it or something like that."

"Since when do you know about spells?" Adam said, putting an eyebrow up.

"What else would he have done when he Kat was able to get out of the spell?"

"You're right! I saw him with a light in his hand while he closed Sam's door. It must have been the first locking spell!" Kat jumped up and down with glee as I sat there with my mouth open. Jace. Locked. Me. In. Here. I sighed and immediately thought of what I was going to do to him once I got the hell out of this f*cking cell.

"So Kat can you unlock it?" Adam said. The rest of the group looked toward Kat, expecting a positive answer. I just sat there going through my torture list.

"I don't know but I can try. Now that I know the spell." She turned toward her door and put her hands out. She mumbled a counter spell and it looked like it was taking a lot of her M away, judging by the way she was struggling. I looked down shaking my head. There was no way she could break a dark magic spell. From what I knew she hasn't practice dark magic, which is too bad because it is quite fun.

"Got...it." She said huffing and puffing. My head spun around and I saw that the cell door indeed was open and she was already at Tyler and Adam's cell performing the spell again. I sat there shocked. How the hell did a little, weak, witch like her actually do that?!

All of a sudden the lights dim and the ground started to shake. The group screamed as a gas filled the air, causing them instantly to fall limp on the ground. I produced the spell I was instructed to use and my cell was instantly protected. Suddenly things started to submerge from the ground. I smiled.

It has begun.

I'm sorry it took like 5 billion years to produce this crappy chapter. I've had things to do....sorta.

Ok actually I had a writers block for the longest time and wasn't motivated to write anything so yeaaaaaaaa.

Btw thanks to jace_herondale___ for writing the beginning part of Sam's POV cause you know she actually wanted me to get off my a*s and finish this chapter or else she would do it for me.
