Chapter 6

Kat's POV

Agh. My body aches and I feel so weak. What happened to me? I slowly open my eyes and look around the room. That's when I saw Adam sleeping on the couch. I look down and see that there are covers over me. He must've put them over me. He really does care. I've never had a relative that cared about me besides my mom and dad, well before they died. I tried to sit up but I was just to weak and my body ached. Just then Alesa came in with a bunch of groceries. Adam woke up and saw me. He ran over to the bed and hugged me. I winced in pain.

"Sorry." Adam said pulling away. His eyes were red and puffy. Had he been crying? Alesa must've seen cause she stopped what she was doing in the kitchen (it's a really nice hotel) and came over to hug me, lightly. She drew back and said,

"Are you ok?"

"Yea. Just feel weak and my body aches. How long have I been out?"

"About an hour." Adam said.

"So you know, right?"

"Yea. I just can't believe I have a cousin that actually loves me." He looked like he was about to cry.

"What do you mean?" I said trying not to be rude.

"My cousins don't like me because I do Youtube and stuff like that. But now I have you." Adam hugged me once more but lighter this time.

"Oh I have great news!" Alesa said in excitement.

"What?"

"Your going to live with us in Seattle!" She said.

"Really?!"

"Really. And you could record with me. I have an extra setup in the guest room. Do you have a minecraft account?" Adam said. I could record with him!

"Yea! My username is FUNNYKID2234. (Don't ask) I just don't have an youtube account."

"Not a problem. Well get some rest. Alesa and I are going to the pool. We put our numbers on your phone so call us if you need anything."

"Thank you so much guys!" I said as I hugged them. It hurt to do that but whatever. Their my new family.

"Bye!" They said as the went out of the room.

I needed to wash up so I went into the bathroom to wash my face. I did a little dance because you know what? I'm Adam's cousin and I'm going to live with him! All of a sudden I was brought down to the floor by something.

Sam's POV

I had followed Kat to the hotel. I saw her black out but I was relived when I heard Alesa say she was ok. I would literally die without her. In order to see her I needed to wait till she was alone so we could talk in private. So I decided to wait till she woke up.

~Time Skip~ (1 hour)

Kat woke up and started talking to Adam and Alesa. They said she was going to live with them in Seattle. I wish I could live with them too, I would be with Kat forever. When they left to go to the pool I saw Kat walk into the bathroom. Now's my chance. When I got to the window I saw Kat do same jacked up happy dance. What the? That dance needs to stop so I jump through the window and landed on her. She fell flat on her butt. "Ahggg my eyes Kat my eyes what the hell was that?" "Ow" she says. Great I forgot she was hurt. I carried her over to the bed and laid her down. I took off my glamor and sat on the bed next to her.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yea. Wait. Why are you here?" Kat asked.

"Ah well you see...." I started to giggle. " I kinda followed you because I didn't want you to go."

"Sam that's crazy! I don't know if Adam and Alesa would want 2 teenaged girls in their house! But I have to admit, I've missed you a lot."

"Me too." I said as I hugged her. Then Adam and Alesa came in looking worried. I put my glamor back on.

"We heard a noise and wanted to make sure you were ok." (Their room is right above the pool) Alesa said.

"I'm fine." Kat said.

"Ok good but what happened to the girl that was sitting right next to you?" Adam asked.

"What girl?" Kat lied.

"The girl that just randomly disappeared and was sitting right there." Adam pointed at me. Great they saw me.

"Sam taking glamor off now!" Kat yelled as she pushed me off the bed.

"Fine fine." I said. I took my glamor off.

"Adam, Alesa, meet my best friend Sam. She is a shadow hunter."

"Hai!" I said.

"Hi." They said in unison.

"Um can she live with us. She won't be a problem at all and I'll make sure she doesn't do anything stupid like trying to jump off a cliff." Kat asked.

"Hey it was one time!"

"One time to many." Kat said.

"Alesa are you ok with it?" Adam asked.

"I am if you are." She replied.

"Ok then. Sam can live with us. You two would just have to share the bunk bed in our guest room."

"Yes!" Kat said as she hugged me.

"Thank you so much!" I told them.

"Your very welcome. Now we are going back to the pool. Sam watch Kat and don't do anything stupid." Alesa said. They walked out of the room once more.

"Why does everyone tell me not to do something stupid!" I asked. Kat just laughed. I'm going to live with her again.
