Sam's POV
"Quick, wake her up and run toward the other side of the room." I heard as I started to awaken.
"Jace she's just a mundie, she won't be able to hurt me." They know I can hear them right?
"Yea say that when you see her slay a demon right in front of you Alec."
"Alec's right she's just a mundie."
"Just like Clary right?" I heard Jace say.
"Hey!" Clary said, sounding annoyed.
"Just shut up and wake the mundie Alec." Ok that's it. I stood up and grabbed my serif blade from my sock. Alec ran behind Izzy who looked as surprised as he was.
"Don't believe me still?" Jace said pointing at me.
"Shut up Jace." Then I eyed the people who called me a mundie. Clary looked at me angrily while Alec and Izzy stood as far away as they possible could.
"You were supposed to take ALL her weapons Izzy!" Clary said, still giving me death glares. I smirked.
"Reasons why I hide my weapons in my socks." I put my serif blade back and looked around the room.
"So this is what the library looks like." I said. Everyone else looked shocked.
"How do you know about the library?" Alec said, finally out from behind Izzy.
"From the books about you guys, duh." I said and knew they wouldn't understand.
"Anyways we need you to come see the Clave." Jace said.
"For what reason?" I argued. Jace was taken back by the sudden anger in my voice.
"Well they are aware that you are a shadowhunter now but no one in your family has shadowhunter blood. They are wondering how you became one."
"No family huh. Makes sense since I'm an orphan." The room went silent.
"I'm sorry Sam." Jace said. I was surprised since it sounded like he meant it.
"Anyways, where is the Clave?" I said, breaking the silence.
"That's kinda classified." Izzy said.
"Well how are you going to bring me there?" Alec smirked.
"Like this." Jace held me down while Alec put a bag over my head. Something hit me and the world around me went dark."
~Time skip~
I woke up on the ground. My head hurt from being hit. I sat up and looked around.
"Hello Miss Herondale."
I turned around and saw a bunch of people siting behind me.
"Who are you?" I said as I reached for my serif blade. The man who spoke lifted up his hand.
"There's no need for that."
"I'll only put it away unless you tell me who you are." The other people looked toward the man and nodded their heads.
"We are the Clave Miss Herondale." As I promised, I put my blade back and stood before the Clave. If you didn't already know, they are the shadowhunters leaders.
"Good. Now we would like to ask you a few questions." The women on the end said.
"Please make it quick." I sighed.
"How did you become a shadowhunter? As you may know, there are no records that you have shadowhunter blood in your family." The woman said.
"I have a friend named Kat Marlin who is a warlock and she made me into a shadowhunter." The Clave looked surprised after I said warlock.
"You do understand that there is no warlock in the world who can cast that strong of a spell?" A bald man said.
"Well Kat seemed to do it just fine." I snapped back.
"Then your friend must be the prophecy that the warlocks are talking about." The man who spoke first said.
"What prophecy?" I said. This was really confusing.
"The prophecy states that there is a warlock that has the powers of all the elements; Water, storm, fire, and life. That warlock is told to defeat a powerful enemy." The woman said.
"Your friend could be in danger for that enemy could be near. He may have been the cause of that large wrath of demons." The bald guy said.
"So what your telling me is that Kat is a prophecy and this guy is going to want to kill her?" I said. The Clave nodded their heads. That guy must be the one who pushed Kat in the pool at the hotel.
"You are free to go Miss Herondale. Keep your friend away from danger." The man said. I walked out of the room and was instantly stuffed into a bag, again.
???'s POV
Sam Herondale should be smarter than this.
She should know that the Clave wouldn't know about warlock prophecies.
But now she has told me everything.
Everything that I need in order to get
Kat Marlin.
