Sam's POV

"We're all gunna die!" Adam screamed at the top of his lungs. I never thought demons would attack us, I mean we really aren't special people and we don't have any enemies. Shelby and Alesa tended to Tyler who was knocked out by a mango. Ugh, mundanes.

All of a sudden a demon came right at Kat, I took out my serif blade that may have been hidden in my sock and killed it.

"You ok?" Kat nodded her head, still shocked by the sudden attack.

"You know I could use some help here?" I stabbed a demon that ran past me.

"Oh sorry." She eyed Tyler who was still unconscious.

All of a sudden a person with blond hair and shadowhunter gear. I suddenly recognized this person and couldn't believe my eyes.

"Is that?"

"Yup." I said as the amazing Jace Herondale walked toward us. Hmm he must've been the one who threw the mango.

"Hey um who are you?" He said.

"I'm Sam. Umm what are you doing here Jace?" He looked shocked that I knew his name.

"I've been tracking these demons and they happened to land here. I don't know why there are so many but I better kill them fast, so stay behind me." Jace pushed me behind him.

"Well allow us to help you with that." Kat froze a demon that was running toward Adam and I killed it. Jace just stood there in amazement.

"Wait your a shadowhunter?!" He exclaimed.

"Um yea. How did you think I could see you?"

"And me?!" Kat added. Oh right, she's a witch.

"You know I wouldn't think about that." Jace said and I laughed. I basically know everything about him and his ancestors from the books.

"Quit your laughing Sam. We have to kill these guys!" Kat said as she protected Adam once again. Adam just kept screaming.

"She's right. Let's go." Jace said and we jumped into action.

{insert epic battle sene}

"Ok I think they're gone." I said in relief. We all had some scratches and stuff like that but overall everyone was ok, well except for Adam who had passed out on the floor.

Kat hugged Tyler after he got up.

"What happened to me?" He said, rubbing the bump on his head that he got from a flying mango.

"You got knocked out by a fruit and Sam, Kat, and blonde took care of the large wrath of demons that were going to kill us." Kyle said. Everyone just started.

"What?!"

"Nothing." Everyone murmured. I turned to Jace who was picking up the mango that hit Tyler.

"So that's where it went after I tried to hit a demon with it." I laughed at Jace's stupidity.

"What did I do now?"

"Oh nothing."

"Right. Now I have to go save someone else." He looked at his sensor and started to walk off.

"What about a thank you!?" I yelled.

"Thanks now I have to go. See you around sometime."

"You too." Jace smiled and left.

~Time Skip to after dinner~

Kat's POV

"I just don't understand..." I murmured to myself. We had finished recording a cops n robbers, so Tyler was watching a movie with me and Sam in our room.

"Understand what?" Sam said. Does she have super hearing?

"Why all these demons came to attack us. I mean, how are we so important to them?" Tyler paused the movie and sat up.

"Did you ever do anything to them?" He said.

"How could we, this is our first encounter you idiot." Sam said obviously upset that we paused the Mortal Instruments.

"But remember the thing in the black cloak or something? What if he has something to do with it?" I said.

"Maybe. But why would he try to kill you?" Sam said as she flicked Tyler in the head.

"I don't know but we have to be aware of everything from now on." They nodded in agreement.

(SPOILER ALERT. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT GOTTEN FAR IN THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS!)

"Can we watch the movie now? I wanna see Jace die." Tyler and I looked at her curiously.

"But you've always hated that part, or should I say parts?"

"Well now that I hate Jamie, I love those parts. Ahh if only Jamie died instead of Jace." Tyler and I laughed and we started watching the movie again.

Well, how's that for a chapter? I mean it has Jace in it.

But I'm blown away right now. The day I posted the last chapter, I waited for about an hour and went back on. I HAVE OVER 400 READS ON THIS BOOK. It's mind blowing and I would just like it thank everyone again for all the support.
