Chapter 20: Beautiful Fear

   A hand covered in a silk, white glove popped out of the fridge door. I knew it was Penny, but the four boys downstairs didn't. The door swung open all the way, my breath caught in my throat as i saw Penny appear from the fridge, his body all contorted, twisting and moving in a very unnatural way. He stood up, his head facing the group but his body still facing the fridge. His legs turned as well as his torso, then he shook his limbs before standing up straight. 

The guy on the ground started bawling and the other three bolted in different directions leaving him behind.

"Time to float." Penny said, moving towards him in a mocking walk. 

The guy began to back up, his leg dragging, obviously it was broken. Penny was imitating the guy's cries as he followed him. He then lunged at him, screaming, crying in his face. 

"Tasty, tasy beautiful fear." He hissed at him. 

He was facing away from me so all I saw next was blood began squirt everywhere, and i mean everywhere. The man's body went limp and Penny began devouring his head. The sound was unbearable, i thought i would get sick, but for some reason i couldn't move. Then, into the room came one of the others with a metal pipe in his hand, he lifted it and stuck it through Penny's head. I held my hands over mouth to make sure I didn't scream but on the inside i was wailing. Tears began to well up in my eyes and I couldn't see anything.

"Penny?" i thought in my mind, trying to stiffle my cries.

Then Penny got up... turning around to face the others, his head and face distorted from the bar that was through his head. He screamed and turned around, cutting one of the men in the stomach. Penny then slithered back into the fridge and the three people ran from the house. 

   I sat on my legs, putting my head in my hands on the floor. I tried to calm myself down but I quickly gave up and let myself cry out. I crawled back onto the mattress and sat with my knees to my chin, rocking back and forth. I was terrified. 

*This was a super short chapter. I did use inspiration from the IT movie but the characters here aren't the Loser's Club*
