I was sat on the couch in the living room watching an episode of Sex and the City, eating ice cream as i heard the phone ringing in the kitchen. I groaned slightly, taking my blanket off and made my over it.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Mom-" it was Robbie, "can y-you come get me?" his speech was slightly slurred and I could hear music playing in the background.

"Where are you?" I sighed.

I got in my car and made my way over to the house that Robbie was at. He was standing on the lawn when I pulled up and I unlocked the door.

"Hi" he said, holding his head low.

He got in the car, his long legs stretching as much as they could. I began driving, not saying anything and just focusing on the road. We arrived back at the house but before Robbie could get out i spoke up.

"What happened?" i asked now looking at him.

He didn't look back at me, just hung his head low and fiddled with his fingers.

"Robbie." i said a little more sternly.

"I'm sorry mom." he sighed.

"Robbie you're 17..." i sighed too.

"I know" he said, still not looking at me.

"You told me you were Graham's... I thought we promised to never lie or keep secrets." i said.

He sighed once again, looked at me and nodded his head.

"Well i'm just glad you called me instead of getting into someone's car. No more secrets, okay?" I said, giving his arm a squeeze.

He nodded his head then lifted it, looking me in the eyes. "Mom-"

I nodded, urging him to continue.

"Can you tell me about my dad?"
