Chapter 29: A Team to Take Out Hydra

There was a small ceremony back in the U.S. for Steve and Y/N to get medals for valor.

"I am honored to present these medals for valor to my personal friends, Captain and Lady America," Senator Brandt announced.

But no one came out.

"Captain and Lady America? That's your cue, you guys," he called out.

A man and woman came out and told him what was going on.

"I thought they'd be taller," a general (Stan Lee) whispered to another.

In London, Steve and Y/N were telling Peggy the locations of the remaining Hydra bases while marking them on a large map.

"There's one here in Poland, and the Baltic and the sixth one was...about..." Steve replied.

"Here. 30 or 40 miles west of the maginal line," Y/N finished.

"We just got a quick look," Steve informed.

"Well nobody's perfect," Peggy responded as a soldier took the map.

They all approached the larger map that was made with each base labeled.

"These are the weapon factories we know about," Steve said.

"Sergeant Barnes said that Hydra shipped all the parts to another facility that isn't on this map," Y/N added.

"Agent Carter, coordinate with MI6.
I want every allied eyeball looking
for that main Hydra base," Phillips remarked.

"What about us?" Peggy asked.

"We are going to set a fire under Johann Schmidt's ass. What do you two say? It's your map. You think you can wipe Hydra off of it?" Phillips wondered.

"Yes, Sir. We'll need a team," Steve answered.

"We're already putting together the best men," Phillips assured.

"With all due respect, sir, so are we," Y/N responded.

In a bar, Steve and Y/N were talking to the team they picked minus one: Bucky.

"So let's get this straight," Dugan started.

"We barely got out of there alive and you want us to go back?" Jones asked.

"Pretty much," Y/N answered as Steve nodded.

"Sounds rather...fun actually," Falsworth admitted.

Morita burped then decided, "I'm in."

Derneir and Jones talked back and forth in French until they came to a conclusion.

"We're in," Jones answered.

"Hell, I'll always fight. But you two gotta do one thing for me," Dugan remarked.

"What's that?" Steve wondered.

Dugan took a sip from his beer then said, "Open a tab."

They all chuckled and Y/N and Steve brought the glasses to the bartender.

"Another round," Steve told him.

"Where are they putting all this stuff?" the bartender asked.

"No one knows," Y/N answered.
