Bea's POV

A week before the ball, everyone's busy.

The debutantes and their escorts were gathered to practice for the cotillon.

The choreographers and the pageant trainer are are not joking when they said they will be very meticulous with every details.

"More grace! I need more grace!" Yuan, the pageant trainer, demanded with his deep french accent.

The girls look so tired by now. The refinement and their grace is starting to vanish.

Trust me when I say, it's not easy. I've been to that ever since and it is completely kind of a hell.

One of the choreographers added additional heavy book to the ladies while they are walking back and forth across the ballroom.

Yes! You got it right. We're not in some fairytales here, but it do really happen in our lives.

I can see from here the smug face of the few girls, who's not enjoying what they are doing and that includes Ponggay.

"Bea!" EJ energetically greeted me and kissed my right cheek.

"Hey, J! What are you doing here?" I felt relief when I saw her. At least I have someone who I can talk randomly instead of  watching this intense training of the girls alone.

Other representatives are not here since they have their own work to finish.

I was stuck with Maddie actually, we are assisting and watching over the girls and the production team. But this teammate of mine is not being helpful. She's been throwing quip and sarcasm the whole day for I don't know why.

"I'm here for my sister. Dad asked me a favor to look for what she still needs to improve. Bawal ba?" She rested her arm on my shoulder while smiling widely.

"Shoulders back, ladies!" Yuan got my attention when he shouted again. I pity the girls, honestly.

"Di naman. That's somehow legal." I kidd then turn around from EJ when someone pinches my waist just to see Maddie's annoyed face.

"What do you want now, Mads?" I gave her the most serious look my face can get.

"In case you forgot, it's break time na. Trabaho muna kasi bago landi." Maddie retorted, rolling her eyes. Then she grabs my hand and started pulling me.

Maddie's POV

I'm trying to be civil with Bea by throwing dodges and all. Weird? But that's me. Well, my defensive side, I think?

I'm starting to believe that Bea is for Jho pero may kalandian lang talaga si Beadel at kung kani-kanino nalang napapalapit that's why I need to keep my eyes on her lately, even though I'm such a cranky girl.

"Bea should learn how to say no to responsibilities sometimes. Hell! She's been working her ass out and she deserves this break." Kianna said while sipping her strawberry smoothie.

We got few more days before the big day and we should have ourselves pampered. We are here at Manila Peninsula, where the ball will be held.

Kianna and I are at the Jacuzzi, relaxing. BT and Jia's sister, Jaime Morado or others call Mimay, are at their room having their nails done with the help of the professionals. Others are having their body massage and some went shopping.

While, Bea? She's somewhere. Babysitting her cousin, Nathan.

Her aunt dropped by with the kid awhile ago, asking for Bea's help since the boy is having tantrums and he wanted to play ice skating with Beatriz.
