" Ami..?" The middle aged woman yawned lazily as she called her daughter's name. A young girl about 16 handed her mother some freshly brewed coffee. " Thank you, mija."

" Good morning, Mom." the girl chuckled. The Aldarete family is only consisting two women. Known for their bravery and fierce character. " Oh wait, it's noon."

" Hmm? Why didn't you wake me up?" She asked sleepily. The girl chuckled as her mother got up and walked drunkly to the bathroom. " I have....stuff to do..."

" Mom! No, you're retired!" She laughed as her mom franticly tried to find her uniform.

" I am?" She asked as looked over to her with half closed eyes. " Oh my god...." She leaned back on the wall and rubbed her forehead.

" You've been retired for three weeks now." Ami said helping her mother to the bathroom. As soon as she was sure her mother was A-okay she hurried downstairs to make lunch.

A stack of papers and pamphlets regarding resorts and tourists hot spots all around the world was spread all over the table. She's been thinking on taking her mom out more often, seeing how clearly stressed out and unbalanced her poor mother has been. Seriously, who in their retirement would sleep with a gun for the sake of 'comfort'?

She sighed as she filtered through the pile again looking for a nice and relaxed place for them BOTH to enjoy. There has got to be a spa, some peaceful forest areas and if thy're lucky maybe somewhere eastern to take their mind off things.

" Mija, what is all this...?" Her mother asked in a gruff and slightly surprised voice. Ami stuttered unsure what to say. " Oh my- Is this for me?" Her daughter nodded shyly as their dark green eyes met. " You didn't have to! Oh, Is this where you decided to take me?" Ami looked down at the pamphlet in her hand. It was an entire month trip to travel all over Japan. " I've never been to Japan!"

" Uh...Exactly..why I chose it." She smiled sheepishly as to go with the flow. Looks like the problem just solved itself. Then a thought came across her mind. " I got a couple friends heading over there for a trip to accompany some journalism student. I'll ring them up to see if they can make a little room."

" No...this is- I don't know.." Ami hugged her mom and smiled.

" Please. I really think you should go." Ami pleaded with her big wide eyes. " After all, nothing can bring down the legendary Puma of Mexico, Chief Jana Jacquiline Aldarete." Her mother chuckled softly.

" Alright, but tell me who these friends of yours are AND this other person they're going with." Ami gave her a look. " What? Background checks are important."

" MOM. Okay, they're twins, Chinese, they're studying support class and thyey have a clean record. Their friend is Russian, his name is Victor Alexeev and he's got a clean slate as well."

" OKAY, I was joking. So when are we going?" The girl smiled the same playful cat-like, mischievous smile as her mother's.
