Chapter 36

Conor's P.O.V

"Caspar come here for fucksake"

I was in the midst of focusing a camera when Caspar had run out of shot to go and speak to Joe and Jack outside.

"Sorry, just had to check something with Joe. You want me to sit here or?"

He sinks down on the sofa where he'd been sat literally ten seconds ago and I nod, making sure it's in focus.

"I really just want to get this done so I appreciate if you don't fuck it up please"

Usually I was a lot nicer towards my friends yet today had been a lot and when I say a lot I mean a fucking lot.

"Just tell me what to do and I'll try my best"

I give him a strained smile, briefing him on what I expected and what I wanted him to say whilst I stood up to hit record on the camera that was stood on a tripod in front of Joe's sofa.

"What's going on everyone? It's Conor, I'm here with my buddy Caspar"

Caspar played the arrogant character I'd told him to be, laying down on the sofa with his legs across my lap.

"Is it just me or do I look more tanned than you right now"

I roll my eyes at the camera as Caspar compares the shades on our arms. He was clearly more tanned but then he'd also been in the US for like one month longer than me.

"Anyway guys the reason to why me and Caspar are filming this is actually that I've got a pretty cool thing to tell you...."

The door suddenly rings and Joe comes inside to check who it could be.

"Sorry but I don't think girls are allowed up actually"

He jokes around a bit, my temper immediately worsening as I just want this video to get done now.

A few minutes later there's a knock on the door before the most stunning girl, who is also crazily my girlfriend walks in.

"Don't mind me babe, I'll wait until you guys are done"

She smiles, dropping her bag off on the kitchen island before walking out on Joe's balcony to join the others sat outside.

In a tad better mood do I go back to filming, explaining everything that is going on at the moment.

"So basically guys, all my covers will be put together on a cover album. And that cover album is going to be on spotify, apple music and deezer on the fifth of August and it's going to include two covers that you guys have never heard before and one original"

I look over at Alaska who's stood watching in the doorway, a large smile on her face. She knows this is hard for me and I can tell she's proud to have been apart of the journey so far.

"I'm so excited!"

Caspar wakes me up from my thoughts, making me look back at the camera, finishing up the video quickly. It was going to be a mess yet I honestly don't care. I'm just happy I've managed to get this far actually.

"Should I turn it off?"

I nod, Alaska walking over to turn off the camera quickly.

"Thank you buddy"

Caspar winks, patting my back before standing up from the sofa, his sunglasses in his hand.

"No worries, it was a blast"

I smile, opening my arms up for Alaska to sit down in my lap.

"I'm really proud of you, you know"
