Alaska's P.O.V

"Come on, you're so fucking slow!"

I can hear Jack yell from the hallway just as I finish off my makeup for tonight's evening.

To be fair had I only used one hour and thirty minutes to get ready tonight, something that for me was unusual.

Yet boys never understand the struggle we girls have to go through everytime we're going out.

"Alright I'm ready"

I take a last look in the mirror, grabbing my jacket from the side before I leave my bedroom.

Jack's stood waiting in the living room and he hasn't even taken his shoes off.

"I like the flowers"

He points at the bunch of roses that was stood on the coffee table next to him and I smile.

"Conor got them sent to me this morning, as a pre birthday present"

It was in fact my birthday today and as Conor was away on tour hadn't he been able to properly congratulate me yet. But at least he'd made some effort to send me a bouquet of flowers.

"I must say I'm impressed he remembered that to be fair"

I chuckle, walking over to the kitchen to grab my keys.

Conor could have the worst memory sometimes, forgetting even the simplest of things just for me to wonder how.

"I haven't got anything from you yet, remember"

I give him a light push before locking the door, still unaware of what Jack had planned for us to do.

"Oh you won't be able to guess what I've got in plan for you my young lady"

He smiles, holding up the door for me as if I'm not capable myself.

It's quite crazy how close I'd got to Jack since Conor's been away. He'd simply taken on the responsibility to keep me company whilst being alone and we'd gotten to know each other a lot more.

"Alright where are we going then Mr Maynard?"

He looks at me cheekily where he's sat in the uber and I just shake my head.

"I either tell you or you try to be a bit patient for once"

"Just tell me now, please"

I just couldn't wait one more second, mostly because Conor had been teasing me over text, telling me how excited he is for tonight and then not telling me why.

It just felt like he'd something to do with this and I so want that to be the case as I hadn't seen him in over three weeks.

"I'll give you clues"

He pulls his phone out from his pocket, checking the time quickly before placing it back down in his lap.

"You're so fucking annoying"

I sigh, not in the mood to get teased like this. Yet I guess that's what happens when it's your birthday.

"Hey, you want the first clue or not?"

Rolling my eyes do I let him win this time. Usually I was more stubborn but I just can't be bothered with this childishness right now and let him have his fun.

"Alright what's the first one?"

"The first one is that we won't stay in London"

He smirks and I honestly feel like killing him after that. I hadn't expected them to be that hard.
