Alaska's P.O.V
I place the last set of belongings down in the brown cardboard box and tape it shut before joining it in the pile of another dozen of the same kind of brown cardboard boxes that now were stood in my hallway.
I was moving, moving from the flat that I for quiete some time now had called my home.
The memories were many and I'd forever keep them with me in the future that was to come.
And if it wasn't for the fact that I now was as close to homeless that you can possibly be would I actually be enjoying it, leaving the place that I'd grown out of by now and experience new worlds that I hadn't seen before.
Yet my longing to move out had left me without a house to call my own and if it hadn't been for Conor's reminders of that you should in fact practice what you preach I don't think I'd be standing here right now, about to hand my keys over to the concierge for the last time.
Luckily Jack and Conor had taken me in as their roommate for the future that was to come until I'd find myself somewhere else to stay, something I hope doesn't take too much time.
Callie and Georgia hadn't been the happiest about my decision yet I'd learned to listen to myself more and with that came to move on onto bigger things, leaving the old me behind.
I smile as I close the door to my filled car, the situation only making me realise that I should probably buy myself a bigger car so that stuff like this would be easier in the future.
And I smile for the whole thirty minute long drive to Conor's just to smile even more when I see him fully dressed and waiting for me outside, something that to me meant so much you don't even understand.
"Hey there buddy"
I pull him into a hug, breathing in the smell of his aftershave and his freshly washed hair, something that was unusual when it came to Conor.
"Are you ready to go out for lunch or do you have to shower or something?"
Surprised do I let go of him, knowing Conor usually wasn't the one to freely leave the house a day like today.
"Lunch would be lovely, I just have to say hi to Jack first"
"He's coming with us though but of course are you allowed to say hi now if you want to"
I chuckle, walking up to Jack who was stood watching us from the doorway.
"Welcome shorty"
Rolling my eyes at him do I hit him playfully on the arm, the joke about me being the shortest one out of his friends always making a return everytime I saw him.
It was crazy thinking that I'd actually become friends with the two brothers that I hadn't even heard of a few months ago and to think that we now were roommates was even crazier.
Conor drives us to Nando's, his own choice as you probably can imagine. Not that I disagreed in any kind of way, no I shared his love for the chicken just as much as Jack did.
"What ya doing?"
Jack was trying to hold in a giggle as I returned to the table with Conor, two glasses of coke in my hands.
"Nothing, You just looked really funny"
I smile back at Conor who's trying to balance the tray of goods to our table without dropping anything on the floor, the cuteness of his concentrated face making me feel so good.
Seeing him happy like this is something so rare that I appreciate every second of it, even though I still don't really know why he's acting this way right now.
