Ok, so I just wanted to say this.
What is up with there being three types of Merlin fanfics out there???
For example:
The basic magic reveal fic. Ya know, the one where Merlin reveals his magic to save Arthur, Arthur gets ticked off, sends Merlin away, and ends up needing Merlin back for some crisis and they make up and all that
The typical "scars reveal" fic, where Merlin has to explain about all his scars from over the years.
And, let us not forget,
The prince!Merlin AU. That thing is frigging everywhere. Nearly half the fanfics I see are that AU.
Anyway, that was random. I don't know why I even made this.
