Chapter 2 (They meet)

Annika and Mallika both were getting ready to meet the boys in the evening.

"Don't you think it would be a little awkward?" Annika who was a little hesitant asked Mallika.

"And why do you think so? They are my friends. You'll like them too i am sure. And moreover they are not like other guys." Mallika tried giving assurance to her.
"And I'm not saying this only because they are my friends but also because i know them since my childhood." She added.

To what Mallika had observed, she and Annika shared a lot of similar habits and traits which led her to an understanding that the guys would love her company too and would be vice-versa.

Annika on the other hand was a little reluctant. Not because she was shy or nervous but because she thought that befriending somebody so soon might cause problems afterwards. It was because being Annika, she was great at making new friends. But being little emotional she gets attached to people easily, And how best friends betrayal affect her... Well she has already had a vast experience of that. But after some time she thought that she was just uselessly Over-thinking, she hence decided to go with Mallika who was already standing at the door waiting for her.

The park was few minutes walk from their hostel. Annika took some time to gather the pleasant view around the park which was surrounded by many cafeteria shops, food courts, confectionery and some daily needs shops.

Just then Mallika ran to a spot where 2 boys were standing who engulfed her in a hug each. Both were really handsome and one was really very tall while other was no less that that.
Joining three of them Annika just gave a smile.

"Guys.. Meet my friend Annika" Mallika introduced her to her friends and brought her close who was still standing at a distance.

"Hii.. I am Advay" Advay forwarded her hand towards Annika who smiled after shaking hands with him and said "Annika!"

Mallika then introduced Shivaay and said "Annika he is Shivaay. One of my 1st friends from school!"
Shivaay just waved at her.

"So did you unpack properly." Shivaay asked Mallika who was busy gawking at Advay.

"Yeahh.." She replied coming out of her trans. "Hey i am really very hungry. I didn't have anything since then. I am sure Annika would be one too? " Mallika asked with a questioning look facing towards Annika. 
To which Annika just nodded.

All of them henceforth went inside a cafe nearby and sat on a round table of 4 with Annika and Advay beside Mallika and shivaay opposite her. They ordered for 2 cold coffee and 2 latte.

Mallika and Advay were sitting quite close and were talking and gigling about discussing something while waiting for their order. Shivaay who was least interested in their conversation started checking his phone replying to some of his messages. Annika decided to start a conversation with him lest she would get bored.

"So you guys are from Mumbai. It's a very big city naa...?" To which Shivaay looked up and just nodded and was got again busy with his phone.

Annika facepalmed herself for being so desperate to talk and was also little irritated on the way he reacted.

Advay who heard her question fair enough and also saw the way Shivaay reacted, he quickly responded "Yeah.. It is! You Haven't visited it yet? "

"Nah. I haven't. But i really wish to.. you know. It's like my dream city. The place really fascinates me!" Annika replied quite excitedly.

Just when they were having a conversation their coffee arrived.

"Annika can you please pass me mine." Mallika requested her.

"Yeah sure." And just when Annika got a little up to pass it towards Mallika, She couldn't get a good hold of the cup, it slipped and somehow some of it landed on Shivaay and his phone.

"FHAT THE WUCK.. " he shouted. "Don't you have some... Aghhh..!"

"I'm sorry. I am really sorry" Annika was herself petrified.

"Chill..! Bro. She didn't do it by means. It just slipped " Advay told him trying to calm him down.

"Thank God it was a cold coffee and not a hot one.!" Mallika said giving out a loud chuckle only to be silenced by the deadly side glare that Shivaay gave to shut her up.

After wiping it of  with some water and tissues. They started having their coffee and latte. When all of them were done with their drinks and stood up to move. It was when Shivaay's hand landed on the glass of water on the table accidentally and all the rest over water fell over Annika's dress who was still sitting.

"Oh shitt!!" Shivaay exclaimed.

Annika who was already tired of all unpacking stuff and earlier incidents retorted back angrily and said, "You are just so Revengeful..!!"

"Whatt..??" Shivaay who couldn't get her exactly, asked.

"Yeahh.! You have done it intentionally just because i spilled the coffee on you  some time back. " Annika replied with an irritated and sarcastic tone.

"You really think i am this childish..??" Shivaay asked her in an equally irritated tone.

Both of them stared each other for some time.

"Guyz.. Guyz... Just end it here! what's done is done naa..!" both Advay and Mallika said in unison.

It was of no use arguing and hence both of them moved outside along with others.

"We have our classes from tomorrow. I am so excited and nervous at the same time" Mallika finally said trying to divert everybody's attention.

"Yeah don't worry everything will be fine..!" Shivaay said and side hugged her.

"Mallika let's go it's 8 already. Remember the rules?!, we are not allowed to stay outside the hostel after 8!" Annika reminded her.

"Yeah you guys should go." Advay came forward and gave a long hug to Mallika and also kissed her cheek.

Annika who was observing all of this just smiled biting her lower lip and moved towards the hostel with Mallika.

"You are dating one of them right..?" Annika asked her as soon as they reached their room by keeping her hands folded upon her stomach.

Mallika who already knew that this question would be coming soon from her, acted as if she was not aware that what on earth was Annika talking about.. "What.. Hahah.. What are you saying?? Kuch bhi!! "

"Don't lie okay it was pretty obvious and you didn't even tell me before.!"
Annika demanded an explanation.

Mallika knew that there is no way to escape and so she decided to give in and said "So, who do you think I am dating??" and gave a sweet chuckle.

Annika after thinking for some time said, "Umm...  SHIVAAY..?? "
