Chapter 29 (Making Memories)

'Shock.'was an understatement to Annika.

Shivaay was sitting on his knees with a rose in his hand directed towards her, expecting an answer. She could see he was nervous. He loves her goddammit. What was she supposed to say.

All the happenings that happened just a while ago were repeatedly going in her mind.
'Somebody proposed her.'

'He just proposed her.'

'Shivaay proposed her.!!'

She tried recollecting all of that.
"he did whaaat?" she asked herself repeatedly.

She looked around. Well she had Audience.! There were people who were gawking at them.

She came out of her trail of thoughts when she heard him speak.

"Annika it's okay you..."
Shivaay finally said when he saw Annika quiet for some time.

Damn! he was on his knees the whole time. She shouldn't have zoned out.

"Youu..You..Can take your time. You don't need to..." he stammered.

"Yes.!" Annika said taking a deep breath.

"Uh. What?"

"Yess."

"Wait a minute. Seriously?"

"Yes. I accept your proposal Shivaay. I..i love you too."

Shivaay was dazed. More than anybody he was shocked with the answer. Not that he expected, He didn't obviously.! But damn she accepted.!

"Oh. Common Shivaay. Come back to reality." he heard Advay shout from the Audience. Who was much to Shivaay dismay had phone in his hand and had recorded everything. Infact many had their video recorder on. Duhh..He just couldn't do anything about it. They were cheering for them

'Chuck this thing for now. He needed to focus'

He got up and hugged Annika immediately.

They both could hear aww sound from the people who were looking at them with absolute love. Some were however jealous as they thought both Shivaay and Annika were single respectively a while back and they still had their chance or to drool over them. But nah no more.

"Annika you don't know how happy I am."

"Uh.oh i can see already." she blushed.

"But wait what took you so.."

"Guys can we please move from here." Mallika said after coming forward from the crowd. Most of them had already gone back to the party with their own set of stories.

"They looked made for each other types" Shivaay heard one of them saying.

"Yeah. The proposal was so cute." the other one said.

"I am so happy for you guys." Advay said while admiring both of them.

"My babies." Mallika literally squealed in child like tone and hugged both of them together.

"Mallika you are choking me." Annika said freeing herself.

"Ah. owh. Don't hurt her please." Shivaay said eyeing towards Mallika.

"Are you fine Annika.?" he asked her.

"Oh my God. The audacity.!" Mallika said in an unapologetic tone. "You bastard! She was my friend before you even came in the picture. And wait what is this.?" she pulled Annika towards her who was standing close to Shivaay, "Hello just because you guys are committed now doesn't mean you will forget your one and only Cupid."
