Chapter 3 (The talk)

"Shivaaaay..???"
"whaaat?? Hahaha.. Nope. What made you think so.?"  Mallika who had just stopped laughing after listening to Annika asked her.

"Come on he was so concerned about you." Annika replied hiding her smile.

After giving a long pause she said, "I am joking babe. I am not blind. The closeness that you and Advay were sharing was quite visible."

To which Mallika just blushed.

"So..?  How long have you been in a relationship with him?" Annika asked further getting more comfortable on her bed.

"It's been 2 years." Mallika replied sheepishly.

"Woah.." Annika could just say this.

"So you wanna know how it all started?" Mallika asked her to which she nodded happily.

Mallika explained, "No doubt Shivaay knows me more or even better but we never had any feelings sort of thing for each other. We just used to enjoy each other company back then.

She further added, "You won't believe Shivaay was the reason we met and also if We are together a huge credit goes to him. You know he introduced us and also told us about how we both should hit it off and would make a great pair." she said hiding her smile.

Annika mentally thought that Really this guy even introduces people?! Thinking about how he greeted her and behaved with her on table. Not that she wanted Attention but a little more courtesy would have been fine.

"That's when I and Advay started spending some time together and hence I realized that indeed he is a good person and that too approved by your dear friend" she gave a laugh.

"You know what Annika, Shivaay isn't the way he behaved today.  A little off track you know. He must have been a little tired of the journey. Trust me he just appears Stone cold from outside but he is a sweetheart. He is really caring and protective of the people he love and is close to. Believe me if you start liking him for once naa, you will fall for him for sure." Mallika explained to her.

"Yah.. yahh.. why not" Annika replied making some funny faces.

"So how was Advay.? Did you like him?" Mallika asked her.

"Yah he was nice and sweet too. Moreover you guys actually make a good couple. I have to agree here with Shivaay. " Annika told her and she could see Mallika was all blushing.

After some time Annika said "Don't you think i somewhat umm.. Overreacted on the table."

Mallika - Well you both did.!

Annika - I'll talk to him about this tomorrow.

Mallika - Yes. Yes. You guys should clear it out.

Annika - Btw umm.. does Shivaay also has a girlfriend?

Mallika - Someone is so interested.? (And gave a laugh.)

Annika - Just asking okay! (she frowned)

Mallika - Ask him yourself if you want to know. Haha..I am just so sleepy :p (after showing her tongue acted as if she was sleeping)

Annika - yeah whatever. I don't even care okay.

Mallika - Ahm. Ahm.

Annika - Good Night Mallika. Just Sleep! (she said irritatingly)

Mallika - Good night!

In Shivaay's flat.

Shivaay was lying on his bed with eyes closed. He was awake but was in deep thoughts.

Advay came to his room and knew that he wasn't sleeping since he hadn't switched off the lights. He assumed that he was thinking of the events that happened in the cafe and so decided to talk about the same.

"Dude it's okay it happens. Moreover both of you kinda overreacted" Advay said sideways sitting on the nearby sofa.

Shivaay who would just have gotten in a deep slumber if hadn't been interrupted could faintly hear him and therefore asked after removing his hands from his eyes "What are you talking about? Who overreacted?"

Advay - You both did!

Shivaay - Who both?

Advay - Are you high?? Or is the caffeine speaking that you had a while before?

Shivaay - I just don't get what exactly you are talking about?

Advay - I am talking about Annika. The quarrel that you guys had on the table. You are thinking about that only right?

Shivaay who just got a bit aware of what was he speaking and snapped himself mentally and said, "What the effing F are you talking.? Why will I think about her? I forgot about it as soon as i stepped outside the cafe."

"So you are not mad about her. That's great. But what was keeping you so busy?" Advay asked a bit relieved.

"Why will I be mad? And Anyways I was thinking about Omru. I haven't been away from them ever. So i was kinda missing them nothing else" He replied.

"Ohkay. Talk to them yaa.. I am kind of sleepy. Just came to check on you. Good night. See you in the morning." and Advay moved to his room to sleep.

After he was gone Shivaay tried to recollect the happenings of the day. He frowned thinking about Annika and the way they both argued like kids. But quickly got passed his thought.

He was happy to be here with his friends, Advay and Mallika and how all of them would together make wonderful memories from now but was dearly missing his brothers and hence decided to call them before sleeping.

Shivaay - Hii guys.!

OmRu on call:

Rudra - Omg Hi. You remember us?

Shivaay - It's just been a day Rudra.!

Rudra - See i told you Om. Bhaiya will forget us after going there. It's been 15 hours. (and made a cute pout to which Shivaay chuckled)

Om slightly snapped Rudra on his head to which he made a soft scowl as if it had hit him hard.

Om - Forget him Shivaay.! You tell me how was it.? Did you reach safely? Met any one new today?

Shivaay remembering Annika and how they met but quickly made up his mind that how it would be a bad idea telling them about the same considering how Melodramatic Rudy can get if he told them about the cafe incident and how again they would start teasing. Top of that he was in no mood right now for that.

Shivaay - Nah not anyone as such.

After talking with them for some time and promising Rudra to talk to him daily. He bid them Good Night and himself dozed to sleep thinking about the surprise that the new Journey which he is going to start tomorrow have for him.
