~Brooklyn
"So do you believe me now?" Calum asked. I looked down at our hands that were still interlocked with each other.
"Y-yeah. I d-do" I stuttered.
"You were nervous?" He asked. All I could hear were are footsteps that hit the cold pavement. I pictured the screaming girls, some happy faces, but I could fell the majority of the girls were pissed off at me, for some unknown reason.
"Like girls screaming at you and bombarding you with questions is an everyday thing." I said sarcastically.
"It is for me" Calum said. I roll my eyes yet again
"Yeah, no shit Sherlock" I said. Calum looked down at me, and then back up at his view.
"You're very, hmmm" he thought.
"What?" I asked
"Contemptuous. Very Contemptuous"
"Oh?" I said questioning his answer, not wanting him to say anything else. "So um, what's it like being famous and all?" I asked.
"It's very intoxicating. It's like your traveling the world everyday. Visiting different countries, cities, states. Trying new foods, meeting new people, hearing different accents. Doing what you love. It's Beautiful"
Calum's words made me smile a little.
"But then there's a bad side. Being judged, Not being the best singer or the best looking, or least noticed. Doing one wrong thing, and everyone remembers you for that thing. Constantly getting hate, and people not liking you" Calum's voice trailed off. "Yeah, that part isn't great at all"
"What about the fans?" I asked.
"There great, it's just exciting knowing that people are so dedicated to you" he said. "But sometimes I wonder if they actually like me, or you know, having the thought of me"
"I'm sure they like you." I said
"Do you like me?" He asked. I sighed determining the best answer to give him.
"I'm not a fan" I said, and he chuckles.
"No, I mean me"
I looked up at him. He stared back down with sincerity in his eyes.
"I just don't want to be friends with someone for money and fame." He said. "Considering that Always happens."
"Who even says I'm your friend?" I asked. He playfully shoves me, making our hands un-connect.
I felt a little disheartened at the withdrawal between the two of us. I liked the presence of Calum's balminess filling my body.
"I like you" he said. He smiled at me.
"Your different""Not, really. I'm just some ordinary person."
"Not to me. Your special"
"But you only know my name, and nothing about me" I said.
"Then, I'll have a pleasure discovering this 'Brooklyn Decker'" He said.
I smiled. "I'm sure you will"
I thought for a moment. Calum Hood is pretty interesting.
"And when I say your special to me, you should take that as a compliment." He said. "I don't call a lot of people that"
"Gee. I'm blushing" I said Sarcastically.
He laughed. "You'll find out some day"
"What's that supposed to mean?" I questioned, putting a piece of hair behind my ear.
He breathed out. I could see his hot breath in the air.
"You'll figure it out" He said, inching closer to me.
"Anyways, where are we going?, we've been walking straight this whole time" I asked
"Where ever life takes us" He answered
