~Brooklyn
Through many days of procrastinating, crying, and guilt; I have decided to call Calum.
This can either go good or bad, I'm praying that if will go good, because if it doesn't I know that we are officially over.
Not that we were in a relationship or anything, I guess I mean our friendship.
My hand slowly picked up my cell-phone and dialed Calum's number.
I hit the call button, and heard the ringer dial.
"Hello" his voice said on the very last ring.
He sounded weary, and vexed. Like he didn't even want to pick up the phone. That probably was the case.
"I-I thought you weren't going to p-pick up" my voice sounding neurotic spoke.
"Well I'm talking to you aren't I?" He spat back at me.
"Yeah," I said, not knowing how to approach him.
"Why'd you call me? Because you're waisting my time"
"I wanted to apologize because you're the only pe-" he cut me off.
"You should of thought about that before you called 'us' off. "
"Calum please hear me out" I said.
"No, Brooklyn. You had your chance when we were sitting down at Bella's"
"Can we meet somewhere private?" My voice sounded forlorn, tears were welling up in my eyes. "Please?" I almost whispered.
"Where at?" He let out an annoyed sigh.
"Let's meet at the 'mountains', if that's okay with you?" I said.
"Sure, Brooklyn." He said sounding satire.
"Thank you" I let out silently, before his end on the phone ended.
I know Calum doesn't want to see me, and I know he probably hates me, but I have to do this.
I quickly threw on a grey sweater, some random leggings and vans.
I regretted it as soon as I stepped outside.
The cold air hit my face, and I walked down the streets and quickly to the 'mountains'
They aren't really mountains, they're literally just a steep grass hill, that we watch the huge lake over.
Climbing up the hill, I spotted no one.
I sat down, and pulled my legs to my chest, and interlocked both of my hands together. I rested my chin on my knees and watched the lake.
Time, and more time passed. I had been sitting here for over an hour.
I want to leave, but I want to stay for Calum.
Suddenly, Calum sat down right next to me.
I instantly became mousy at Calum's presence.
"I was debating if whether I should have come or not" his voice spoke.
"Oh, I understand" I spoke In a hushed tone.
There was an awkward feeling between us. I could tell the feeling was mutual.
"Brooklyn, you wanted to talk so talk" he said.
"Okay" I said silently, and began to speak.
"Calum. I am sorry, and I know you probably didn't come here to meet me for an apology. I just want to explain myself so hear me out. "
"I'm listening" he said.
"Okay, the only reason that I told you that we couldn't be friends was because I was scared. I was scared that I would hurt you, your relationship with the fans, your band, everyone. "
"Did you realize that you hurt me more by saying that we were never friends, and leading me on to like you, and then breaking us off like what we had was fucking nothing."
A tear shed from my eye.
"Calum, I realize that, and I'm a total ass for that. Every night since that day I've been practically crying myself to sleep. Hating myself for what I did to you, Calum. I've seriously been torn in two, and I know I shouldn't tell you, but I just couldn't stop thinking of you. Every night I almost called you. Just to say, I can't stop thinking about you" I spoke, tears now falling rapidly down my face.
"I'm so sorry" I mumbled before burying my face in my legs crying even harder.
"Calum, I miss you" I said wiping my face.
Calum scooted his way closer to me. He wrapped his arm around my waist, and I buried my face in his chest, as he held my hand.
"I'm right here Brooklyn." He said.
"I'll always be right here"
