22) Together?

I turn to face Calum on the bed. He is sleeping peacefully as I play with his hair a little.

"Cal" I whisper.

He breathes in and out softly, and I smile at the beautiful boy who is laid in front of me.

"Cal" I said again, but this time I placed a soft kiss on to his lip. "Wake up baby"

His eyes soon flutter open, and his lips purse into a wide smile.

"Good morning lovely" He said. "How did you sleep?"

"Good" I spoke softly. "Because you are here"

I lay on my beck letting out a yawn. "Its still raining" I said looking out of the window.

Calum turned his head looking out of the window, and then yawned.

"You know, it always seems to be raining" He said putting his arms behind his head.

I rested my arm and head on his bare chest. "Seems like it"

"Cal?" I asked propping up on my elbows.

"hmm"

"I was just um, wondering if..." my voice slowly trailed off.

"What Brooklyn? is everything alright?" He said sounding a little more concerned, than he was previously.

I let out a sigh.

"Um, I was just wondering if I was like your you know..." I trailed off once again.

"Girlfriend?" He asked, and his eyebrows furrowed.

"Yes" I said silently.

He laughed. This was not the reaction I was expecting from Calum.

I honestly do not know what I was expecting from him.

Maybe a 'Yes, I would love to be your boyfriend Brooklyn' or 'Damn, I have been waiting for forever, for you to bring this conversastion up'

"I mean, do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked now being serious.

His eyes turned a darker shade of brown when he was concentrated on something. The subject he was concentrated on as me, making me a hell of a lot more nervous.

I lightly bit down on my lip, a nervous habit that I had developed when ever I'm around Calum. I couldn't even look him in the eyes, knowing I would be helpless melting for the boy.

"Hey" He spoke. "Look at me" His hand reached up, and lifted my chin up making our eyes lock together.

"Now, answer my question" he said still holding his hand up agaisnt my chin.

My eyes still wandered around the room, not looking at him.

His Hand fell from my chin, as he pinned my arms against the bed, climbing on top of me.

"Darling, do I make you nervous?" He said starring down at me.

When he stared down at me I felt as if he could read right through my soul.

"Answer the question" He now bit his lip.

I've had never seen this dominant side of Calum, but it sure as hell was making me even more nervous than I already was.

"Y-yes" I manage to let out.

A grin appeared on his face as he gripped my arm to the bed tighter, and softly kissed my neck.

"C-calum" I stuttered

"What Brooklyn?" He said. "Am I making you even more nervous?"

Calum knew damn well what he was doing. He is just trying to get a reaction out of me. His kisses seemed to be getting lower and lower.

"Yes Calum!" I blurt out. "I want to be your girlfriend"

His grip becomes loser around my wrists as a huge grin is plastered agaisnt his face.

"Took you long enough" he stated.

I bury my face into the pillows as Calum kissed the top of my head.

"okay" he said.

"Okay what?" I questioned moving my face out of the pillows.

"I'll make it happen" He said smiling, leaving me confused as ever.
