~Brooklyn
I sat on the green carpet placing records in there appropriate places, work ends in 45 minutes, and I can then buy the record I've wanted.

I have been looking everywhere for the Arctic Monkeys Record, not cd but record. I've searched on Amazon, Ebay, everywhere but can't seem to find it.

"Hey, Brooklyn" my boss called

"Yeah?" I asked, rolling my eyes. Hoping that he wouldn't see. I hated being the only worker in the store on Saturday's.

"Come help this customer over here"

I stood up and walked over to the customer, putting on my most fake, yet presentable smile. "Hi" I say
"Hey" the boy said.

"So do you need help with anything?" I asked

"Yeah, which one do you prefer. Abbey Road, or Tomorrow Never Knows?" The guy said holding up two Beatles Records.

"Hmm, what is the occasion or, reason, you want to buy this?" I questioned

"Well, my girlfriend loves the Beatles, so I want to get her a Record since she just recently bought a record player, and you're a girl so I'd figure you'd help a lot" He says

"Okay, well 'Tomorrow Never Knows' is really Indian vibish influenced, and has a cultural sound to it, while 'Abbey Road' is a classic, and their most famous selling cd, or record. So I would go with Abbey Road" I say.

"But I don't know, I mean"...

The guy continues talking as I shift my eyes to a boy going through the 'old' titled records. No one ever looks at those. What the hell is he doing?I hid my Arctic Monkeys record in there and if he grabs it -

"Hey?! What the hell are you doing?" I yell walking over to him, leaving the guy clueless about the two Beatle's albums.

"Umm, buying an album?" The guy chuckled looking down on me.I can't really help that I'm short.

"No you're not." I say

"And why am I not going to buy this album?" He says "I'm obviously obligated to"

I roll my eyes. "Because it's mine"

"If it was yours, wouldn't it have been bought?" He smirks.

"I'm buying it right now" I say reaching up to grab it, having him pull it back.

"Do you even know who I am?" He says

"Does it look like I give a damn?" I say.

"That's not how your supposed to speak to a customer" he mocks.

"Please?" I say close to giving up. "I really need that record"

"Sure, love if it makes you feel better" he says slowly handing me the record.

I sigh in relief. "Thank you so much I've been looking for it everywhere" I reach out my hands to grab it, to only have him pull it away.

"Sorry not sorry" he says laughing at me. "Shit, I can't believe you actually fell for it" he says trying to hold his laugh in.

"Asshole," I say, as he leaves me standing there empty handed. "What the fu-"

"Watch your language Brooklyn or you'll get another strike! You've already gotten two, and you're on your last string so don't push it " my boss said.

"I wasn't going to say anything." I say, annoyed rolling my eyes.

I watch as the mysterious guy pays for my album, and leaves with my album. I guess I'm heart broken. Yes, yes I am.

I began to clock out because my shift was over. I grab my purse and my car keys and began to head out the door.

"Hey! Brooklyn, before you leave, some guy left this for you" My boss says. He handed me the small piece and I left the store.

I think your very appealing , and would like to have lunch with you. (098-224-6424)
