~Brooklyn
This Calum kid could be anyone.
I don't want to call him, but then I do. I don't know. For all I know I could get kidnapped! Yes kidnapped. It may be a little bit drastic but still. My fingers slowly traced over the number that was written sloppily on the paper. I was deciphering if I should call this so called Calum.
I slowly picked up my phone and dialed the number that was on the paper.
I bit my tongue as the phone rang, indicating that I was now calling Calum.
"Hello" A voice on the other line says.
Should I speak? Or just hang up?
"Hi" I say softly. "I um, received a note from you" I say quietly, being nervous talking to some guy who wanted to meet me.
"Oh, yeah" he says plainly. "I thought you were pretty interesting."
"Oh" I say, not knowing how to continue the conversation.
"Yeah, I would like to actually sit down and talk to you, or hang out " he says.
"How about tomorrow afternoon, at Bella's?" He asked."I-I don't know, I mean" he interrupts
"You'll enjoy it" he said.
"Um, okay? What time?" I asked.
"12:30" he said before hanging up.

I walked into Bella's and it was surprisingly empty. I ordered myself a coffee and sat down at an empty table.I sipped my coffee and began reading my book.
I was so in to it, I didn't even realize the person sitting in front of me.
"Hello" he says eyeing me up and down.
"What the hell?" I say "I guess you forgot to mention that you were the one to take my album" I said with frustration.
"Oops, I might of forgot" he says laughing.
"Whatever, I'm leaving" I said getting out of my chair.
"No, wait, don't go" he says.
"And why should I listen to you?" I asked
"Because, I want to get to know you" he said.
I sighed, rolling my eyes sitting back down in the chair.
"What's your name?" He asked
"Brooklyn. Brooklyn Decker" I said.
"So tell me about yourself?" He asked.
"Hmm, There's not much to tell" I said.
"C'mon, everyone has a story" he said
"Story?" I questioned
"Yes, story. Like about your life you know?" He said. "Struggles you've been through, interesting things about you"
"I don't know why where doing this, I have no story."
"Maybe you just haven't experienced it yet"
"Maybe" I said. "But what about you?" I asked
"Well I'm in a band, called 5 Seconds of Summer" he said.
"That's a stupid name" I say.
"No it's not" he defends
"Yes it is" I said
"No it's not"
"Whatever float's your boat" I roll my eyes.
"Anyways, I'm in a Band, and I play Bass guitar"
I scrunch my nose.
"What's that for?" He asks.
"I'm In to drummers" I said, as Calum shifts in his seat. "So um, this band are you like famous or something?"
"C'mon, you've never heard of 5 Seconds of Summer?" He asks.
"Nope, not ever" I say. "Anyways, you make it seem like your in this huge boy band, and have girls constantly throwing themselves at you, which is defiantly not the case." I said.
"Seems to me it is. Explain why I got here 20 minutes late" he said
"Ok. You have a point, but I won't believe it until I see it"
"Whatever floats your boat" he says mocking me.
I roll my eyes again.
"Can you sing?" I asked him. Calum smiled and nodded his head.
"I guess" he said. "Why are you being like that ?"
"Like what?" I asked
"Like your better than everyone else"
I rolled my eyes.
"See there you go again, rolling your eyes. I ask you simple questions and you want to give me shit answers. What's your problem?" He asked sternly
"My problem?!" I say shocked. "You come up here talking to me with this nonchalant façade, thinking I'm supposed to give a shit about you being famous!" I said getting pissed off at Calum.
"Façade? You can't even be real with me for 30 minutes, and you have this bad attitude with me for asking you simple questions. Get your fucking attitude checked"
"Goodbye Calum" I said, grabbing my book and coffee leaving him.
As soon as I walked outside there were about 50 girls surrounding the Bella's building.
"Have you seen Calum?" One girl asked.
"Are you his girlfriend?" Another one asked.
"Why are you seeing him?"
Multiple questions filled my ears.
I looked at all of the girls and there exited yet frustrated eyes looked back at mine.
I quickly turned around to be facing Calum's chest as he quickly grabbed my hand for reassurance.
"Guys, she's just a friend okay! Nothing more, nothing less" He said comforting the girls.
Calum's hands were warm. I felt something between us, something positive, instead of the negativity we both shared on each other. This felt pleasant.
He gave my hand a squeeze, to reassure me that everything would be all right.
I still was in shock looking at all of the girls. I've never seen people so dedicated to one person. Especially to the persons hand I'm holding.
"Are you okay? You look like your going to be sick" one girl screamed at me.
"Y-yeah I-I'm all right" I said looking down at the pavement.
"Bye everyone!" Calum said, and we both walked down the cold Sydney Streets.

•Hey Everyone! I hope you enjoyed this way better than the last chapter. What do you think about Brooklyn and Calum's Budding Relationship? Or even if they're going to have a relationship at all?
•The outfit Brooklyn wore to meet Calum is on the side! Brooklyn Also wears a lot of heels and wedges because she's supposed to be short. So she's around 5'3- 5'3 1/2 (My polyvore is haileyv) If you want to check out Brooklyn's style
•Oh and also, I'm in the process of making an 8tracks playlist for Brooklyn and Calum and it will be done soon, so the links will be up soon.
•Lastly Vote! Rate! Share! 😋
