~Brooklyn
I miss Calum, and I'm honestly thinking that maybe we were just meant to be friends.
But I just can't get rid of this feeling that's buried deep in my heart, telling me to find my way back to him.
I usually go outside, and lay in the grass looking at the stars thinking of him.
Yeah, it's cheesy.
But I need him, and I don't think he realizes how much I do.
I stood at his door, contemplating if I should knock or not.
I slowly knocked, and instantly regretted doing so.
"What are you doing here?" Calum questioned.
"I um, we need to talk" I said looking at the ground.
"I don't want to talk right now, Brooklyn"
"How could you do this to me?!" I said, my voice getting louder as I spoke.
"Do what?"
"Calum, I have never met a person who has much as an affect on me as you do. I can't get you out of my fucking head. " I said. "I know this is exactly what you want. You want me to feel bad for you and instantly come crawling back"
He looks at me with no emotion in his face.
"And that's exactly what I'm doing, because I can't bare being with out you"
"Brooklyn"
"What?" I asked.
"Go home"
I chucked.
"What?" I asked again.
"Go home"
"Calum, please" I mumbled now looking in his eyes.
"What is there to talk about Brooklyn?" He asked. "There is nothing that's important"
"Aren't I important?" I questioned.
Calum's gaze fell from me to the ground.
"Yes" he mumbled.
"Then why won't you talk to me?"
"Because, I'm tired of hurting people. What ever I say I hurt you, so I distance myself from you" he said quietly.
"Am I still your..." I paused "Am I still your girlfriend?"
He now looked at me softly, instead of his previous piercing stare.
"Yeah, why wouldn't you be?" He asked.
"Because you said I was a replacement"
"I'm sorry" he mumbled again.
"Am I?" I asked.
"Again, Brooklyn, go home. It's late." He said. "Can't we do this another time?"
"Y-yeah" I stuttered, as tears filled in my eyes.
"Goodnight" He started to place a kiss on my forehead, as I took a step backwards.
"Bye" I said turning around, and walking to my car.
Calum shut his door leaving me alone once again.
But this time I cried on my steering wheel, over him. Like always.
Now that I think about it, my body shouldn't have any more tears to process.
I'm all cried-out, and I'm tired of doing it, because I seem to find myself unhappy all of the time.
