~Brooklyn

Over the past 5 days Calum and I have been talking nonstop, but today was different.

I constantly had butterflies in my stomach waiting for him to come pick me up.

Calum wasn't telling me where we were going, but constantly told me to dress casual.

Knocks were heard from my door, as Calum stood outside.

I opened the door and smiled.

"Hey Lovely" He said before pulling me into a hug.

"Hi" My voice sounded muffled into his chest.

"Ready to go?" He quickly asked.

I nodded my head before grabbing my phone off of the counter top, leaving my flat.

"Calum" I whined. "Can't you tell me where we are going?"

"No" He smirked before turning on the car engine.

"Please?" I asked getting a chill through my body, from the cold air.

"We'll be there soon Brooklyn, don't worry" he flashed me a smile, before looking back at the road ahead of us.

Time and Time passed before Calum parked his car.

"We're here" He said taking out the car keys, and stepping outside.

We were at Bondi Beach in Sydney.

"Cal?" I asked.

"Hmm?"

"Don't you think it's a little to cold for a beach, yeah?"

He laughed.

"Just wait here sweetheart" he simply stated, as he popped the trunk to his car.

"Hey Brooklyn, can you come here for sec?" He asked.

"Yeah" I said. "Here I come"

I walked over to the back of his car, and saw what he was doing.

"These are for you" He said handing me a bouquet of white roses.

He gave me a small smile, and looking down at the ground.

"Calum, they're beautiful" I smile.

"I was going to get you red roses, but the Luke said it was too mainstream"

"I mean, Calum, even getting me flowers is more than enough"

He furrowed his brows. "Psh, you deserve the world"

I smiled at his statement.

I watched as he carried blankets in his right arm, and a picnic basket in his left.

"So we're going on a picnic?" I questioned.

"Yeah, something like that. But the cooler thing is, it's at night"

I laughed at how proud Calum was. I had never seen him this excited before, but it made me happy.

I followed behind Calum as we walked into the sand, hard to walk in because of our shoes.

Calum placed one of the blankets down near the shore, but not to close to were the water could wet the blanket.

He then set down the other blankets, and placed the picnic basket down.

I watched as he pulled out Candles, lighting them, and then sat down.

"You can sit down you know?" He gave a soft smile.
