~Brooklyn
"You need to go home Brooklyn" Calum finally said opening up the door.
It seemed like hours since I sat on his porch crying.
I stood up facing Calum. "Please talk to me"
"Brooklyn, it's like three in the morning" Calum sighed. "Let's do this another time"
"Where are you going?" I questioned him.
He looked as if he was about to go somewhere. He wore a flannel, black skinny jeans, and vans. He also had his car keys and wallet in his hand.
"Brooklyn, it doesn't matter" Calum said. "Just please go home"
I ran my fingers through my hair. "Not until you talk to me"
"Some other time" Calum said again, walking to his car.
I followed him, getting in on the passenger side.
"Brooklyn, get out"
Calum then started up his car, and began to drive. "If you aren't going to get out, then I'll take you with me"
I folded my arms across my chest.
"You hurt me you know?" Calum asked, switching on his turn signal, and turning on the road.
"Cal, I -"
"No, honestly Brooklyn" ... "I would never have expected you to cheat on me, with Luke of all people"
"He lead me on, Calum" I tried telling him.
Cal let out a fake laugh. "That doesn't mean anything"
"He told me you didn't love me" ... "And I believed him" I whispered.
"Bull shit" Calum said. "You know Damn well I love you"
I stayed silent.
"Why?" Calum asked "why didn't you tell me?"
I rubbed my eyes. "I wanted too, I swear I did" ... "But, I knew you'd hate me. You'd hate me so much, and I never wanted you to hurt"
"Brooklyn" Calum said. "I am hurting you, you hurt me even worse by not telling me"
"I know" I mumble.
"You don't know" Calum said raising his voice a little. "Never would, or have I ever cheated on you!"
"I know I'm fucked up Brooklyn, but I know what and not to do in a relationship!" Calum's voice cracked. "If you loved me like you said you did, no matter the temptation you would have never cheated on me"
"I didn't want too!" I yelled back. "Nor did I mean too!"
"Then why did you do it?!" Calum yelled.
"Because I-I, I don't know" I stuttered.
"You're so shallow Brooklyn" Calum said. "I devoted everything to you, and I know I hurt you too." Calum said. "But, I know what I've done wrong and tried to fix everything for you. Because after Quinn, I knew you were my only shot at happiness, and I loved you, until I couldn't love you anymore"
"I love you so much" Calum cried.
Calum turned the car so now we were on the free way.
"Where are we going?" I asked him once again, but he ignored my question.
"You know how you're in love with someone that they bring out the best and worst in you?" Calum questioned me.
"Yeah" I mumbled.
"Well that's you Brooklyn"... "I hate you so much"
I stayed silent once again. I couldn't believe he hated me.
"... I hate you for making me fall in love with you"
"Calum" I mumbled. "Please"
"You have no fucking clue what you have done to me!" Calum yelled, he gripped the steering wheel tightly. "You have no Idea!!"
"I can't forgive you!" Calum yelled. "I can't"
"Calum!" I cried. "I'm so sorry!"
"Why not just break up with me?" Calum asked. "Instead of cheating? That's one of the lowest, and sickest things any one can do"
Calum continued to yell and scream profanities at me. I couldn't blame him because everything was my fault.
"Calum" I said quietly after he began to calm down.
"What?!" He snapped.
"I love you" I said. "No matter what happens to us, I really do"
After awhile Calum answered. "I love you too, Brooklyn"
The next 15 minutes were very silent. Calum still drove to an unknown destination, and none of the streets were familiar to me.
"I have something to tell you" Calum said.
"You can tell me" I said quietly.
I was worried, by the look of Calum's face I knew something was going to be serious.
"I'm leaving" he said.
"Huh?" I was confused.
"For three months" he said. "We're going back on tour"
"Y-you are?" I stuttered. "I'm happy for you"
I wasn't.
"You aren't Brooklyn" he said. "I know you aren't"
"I know"
"Neither am I" Calum said. "I can't do it anymore.. But I have too"
"What?" I asked Calum. "You love what you do"
"Music is what saved me" Calum said. "But it doesn't save me anymore"
"Then don't go" I told Calum.
"But I'll let everyone down" Calum cried.
"You have to stop worrying about everyone else" I told Calum. "Because everything isn't always your fault"
Calum smiled. "I told you that didn't I?"
I smiled back. "Yeah"
"But I'm leaving, and I don't know what you want to do" Calum said. "We're rocky, and so is our Relationship"
"I need to forget about you Brooklyn" Calum said.
Tears slipped from my eyes.
"I need to, and it'll help the both of us"
"Calum" I said
"It's the only way" Calum said "Just how I did with Quinn, I need to do it for you"
"I don't want to forget you Calum"
"You don't have to, but we both need to move on"
I nodded my head, and watched as Calum drove.
"Again Brooklyn, I love y-"
"Calum watch out!!!!" I screamed, as Calum's car swerved.
His car smashed into the large truck that bolted in front of him.
Calum's car flipped and spun, until everything went black.
