Part Three

It had been 8 months since Justin and Y/n broke up.

Justin was doing his own thing, finding himself, learning new things, picking up new hobbies. He just didn't have the time nor the patience for a girlfriend in the moment. He just wanted to spend time with his friends and family.

Y/n, too. She got accepted into ASU, taking Journalism and Photography electives while taking English courses to get her master's degree in English Lit. She has a part time job at a local cafe that's pays well considering she is a student that attends a sponsored college. She has her own little one bedroom, one bathroom apartment complex. Life's good.

Justin was planning a small vacation in a least expected state. No paparazzi. No press. No real nosey people. LA was full of toxic people, it was refreshing to step off the plane into the not so refreshing hot, dry heat of Arizona. He owned a house on the Camelback Mountain that looked over the Phoenix area. Even though the weather is horrendous, the views were beautiful. Especially the sunsets. He had decided to go for a drive around town and look for convenient stores, gyms, cafes. As he rode around in the black Range Rover, he stopped for some coffee.

Y/n was sitting in the corner reading her textbook about the importance of punctuation and grammar in written English language. Taking notes, she took a sip of her tea. The tinkling of the store bell rings notifying her that someone had walked in. She looks up for a moment and sees a blond mop of hair walking towards the front counter. She thought nothing of it and continues to read her textbook. she only has a twenty minute break, she won't waste it on watching customers come in and out of the shop.

"Hi, what can I get for ya?" a small brunette with glasses whose name is Olivia smiles.

"can I get a green tea latte, please?" Justin says.

Y/n's heart races at the sound of his voice. She shoots her head up, that can't be?

"okay a Green tea latte, what size?"

"medium, please."

that can't be him... should I call out his name?

"a medium green tea latte, will that be it?" Olivia smiles.

Justin nods his moppy head, "yup."

"$4.86, please." Olivia says, "and if it's not too much to ask, can I please get a photo with you? if you're not comfortable, you don't have to." she says with hope.

"yeah, sure." Justin obliges and Olivia comes from behind the counter with her phone, taking a photo with the one and only.

that's Justin fucking Bieber Y/n thinks to herself. Her heart pounded against her chest. Justin's in the same room as she is. She knows she shouldn't feel this way, but she can't control it. She could hear her heart throbbing, "I think I'm gonna be sick," she mumbles. She quickly gets up and runs to the bathroom and upchucked into the toilet. The nerves got to her.

Justin noticed the girl running to the bathroom but didn't catch her face. Olivia smiles, "Thank you so much, Justin. I'll have your latte ready in just a moment. Take a seat and it'll be right out for ya."

Y/n looked at herself in the mirror as she splashed cold water on her face. Grow a fricken pair, she thought to herself, don't be such a pussy. She rips a piece of paper towel into her palms and dries her face. Taking a deep breath, "I got this." She turns and faces the door, hand on the cold, metal handle and turns the knob. "I don't got this," she stops and closes the door again, walking back to the mirror. she checks her face again, seeing miniscule, minor, not so important flaws she made up in her head. She bugged about her hair looking like a mess, her teeth aren't straight, her eyebrows need plucking. All of which Justin had seen before and hadn't mind at all. Or ever.
