Chapter 15: Relaxing Day Turned Stressful

As we left off last time, Zia and her Pokemon, as well as Team Rocket, are now stuck in a sunken capsized ship way below the ocean.

As Zia began to awaken, she remembered what was happening before the crowd knocked her out. She sat up and looked around, seeing the place basically abandoned. Turning towards the window she saw what she feared. The only thing she could see was water, water, and more water. She was stuck in the ocean.

She stood up and realized all her Pokemon were knocked out as well. She went around waking them up, telling them what was going on as well. Of course Tania and Kai weren't that worried seeing as they were made for water. However, Dimitri and Athena were terrified. Zia called back everyone except for Tania, Emmy, and Sky.

They walked around the ship, looking for somewhere they can escape out of. They made it to a staircase where water was leaking in. "The ship is leaking water everywhere." Emmy said as she watched the water around the bottom part of the stairs.

"Yeah but there is still air in here, which makes it take longer for water to fill up." Zia said as she tried to comfort her grass starter. "Well, it's either up or down." Sky commented as she looked to Zia. Said girl thought for a moment before speaking. "Well, since we are sinking then we would need to go up but since we are flipped around the deck is below us." She muttered and she stared at nothing in particular.

"Tania, could you dive under and see if there is a way to the deck?" She asked as she looked at her Milotic. Tania nodded and dove into the water. She swam around and found a dead end. Huffing, she turned to go another way when she saw Team Rocket drowning. Sighing, she dragged the trio back to where Zia and the rest were.

"Team Rocket?!" Zia exclaimed as she stared at the three where they were trying to recover from all the water. They woke up and saw Zia. Jumping up, they smirked at her and got their Pokemon ready. "We've got you cornered now!" Jesse stated and Zia got some of her Pokemon ready.

"Ekans!/Koffing!" They both shouted. Zia sighed. "Here we go..." She muttered and sent out Vinnie, Dimitri, Kai, and Mayas. They all glared at each other before the ship started lurching again. They all slid to one side of the ship and ended up in a pile. "We got to do something, otherwise this ship is going down deeper." Zia stated as she sat up.

"Ok, all the Pokemon except Sky and Emmy go to the other side." Zia yelled as the ship tilted more. The Pokemon not mentioned quickly ran to the other side to try and even the weight out. However, it was still unbalanced as the ship titled the other way and everyone slid again. The Pokemon all ran to the other side again but Zia got an idea. "Wait, Tania, stay over here!" She called as the ship started titling again.

Even that didn't work so Zia looked over to Team Rocket. "Call back your Pokemon guys!" She said to them. They looked at her like she was crazy. "Why would we do that? You would just beat us then!" James shouted. Zia groaned and shook her head. "Now is not the time to be fighting, what is more important at the moment, battling or your life?" She asked them. They relented and brought back their Pokemon while Zia brought hers back, not including Emmy or Sky as always.

The ship finally evened out. They all stood up and began glaring at each other. Zia sighed. "Ok how about this, no fighting until we get off this ship. Until then we work together." She suggested, or more like ordered. Zia and Jesse civilly shook hands, Meowth and Emmy glared at each other heatedly but still did it, and James and Sky did as well, but Sky shocked him. "Sky, as much as I'm glad that you did that, now is not the time." Zia scolded. Sky sighed and nodded, letting go of James.

"Now we need a plan." Jesse stated as she looked at Zia. She nodded in agreement and glanced around until she found what she was searching for. She walked over to the map of the ship and found the best route to the top, which would be the hull in this case. She looked for the area corresponding to the map and found the correct staircase. "Alright, Avery, Gunnar, help me out." Zia called as she released her two Pokemon that could fly.
