"What are those spiky thingys?" The Dratini questioned as they rode up to Trovita Island on the ferry.

"They're rocks that formed millions of years ago when Trovita Island rose up from the ocean." Zia answered her. Sky's ears suddenly twitched as she looked around. "Look, over there!" She directed as they looked in between the rocks to see a little girl holding on to a Seel, stuck in a whirlpool.

"Help! Please, somebody help me!" She screamed as they all gasped. "We've got to do something, fast." KC stated as they tried to figure out how to help her. Zia sat Kaida down as she got out a pokeball.

Throwing it into the water, she released her Blastoise. "Kai, let's go save her." She told him as she took a deep breath before they both dived underwater, heading towards the other two.

The girl and her Seel were now floating down deeper into the ocean, away from the whirlpool so Zia grabbed the girl as Kai picked up the Seel and placed them both on the Blastoise's shell as they swam towards the island, as the ferry was too high up to climb back on, especially with the added weight of the fainted girl and Pokemon.

A few seconds later and the girl started to wake up, a little disoriented as she sat up on Kai's back. The Seel also woke up, jumping in the water to swim on its own again. Now with the free space, Zia took a break and hopped up onto the Blastoise's shell as well, since she didn't have to stamina her Pokemon did to swim so far.

"Why were you out so far anyways?" Zia asked the little kid, noticing how far away from the shore they were. "I was swimming with Seel near the beach but the ocean pulled us out." She said, explaining. "That's why you swim with other people around, the ocean is very unpredictable and dangerous. So next time take someone else with you." Zia advised as the girl nodded, a smile on her face.

Pulling up to the dock, they were greeted with a reddish-brown haired male with black pants and a long-sleeved shirt, a white vest placed over it. Zia picked the girl up and set her on the dock as she ran over towards the new male, hugging him. "Mahri!" He cried as he hugged back, obviously relieved.

Zia hopped up onto the dock as well. "Thanks for helping me, Kai. Have a nice rest." She smiled and returned the Blastoise. KC and the Pokemon got off of the ferry, walking with Zia up to Mahri, the man, and a group of people behind them.

"I'm very grateful to you. I can't thank you enough for saving my sister." He said happily. "We were glad to." KC replied. However, the man walked past him and over to Zia. "May I ask your name?" He asked her. "Huh? Well, my name's Zia." She answered, surprised.

"Zia, you're amazing." He said before snapping his fingers, the people behind him shoving multiple bouquets into her face. He snapped his fingers again and someone else began playing music on a tape player. He then kneeled down in front of her. "Zia, it would give me great pleasure." He said before standing up and grabbing her hand, pulling her along.

Zia was incredibly confused. Not only did he not introduce himself, he didn't tell her where they were going! KC was shocked, not fully realizing that some guy just ran somewhere with his girlfriend.

However, Zia and the man stopped on the shore as they began to dance. "Zia, from the way you saved my sister, it's clear that you're an excellent Pokemon trainer. There aren't any water-type trainers here as skilled as you are. I'd be very grateful and very honored if you could stay here for a while and instruct the trainers at my humble gym." The, now not so mysterious, man offered.

"Your gym? Wait, I'm sorry, I'm not only a water-type trainer, only a few of my Pokemon are water-types." She told him. "No worries, you'd still make an excellent instructor at my gym. And yes, I am the Trovita Island Gym Leader." He answered her, smiling handsomely.
