Zia sighed as she laid underneath the shade of a tree, taking the time to relax. Sky and Emmy were doing much the same in the serene surroundings. After having traveled a while, they were deep in the forest, trying to find where they were headed to next.

Suddenly, Zia's stomach growled, making her blush. She chuckled sheepishly and sat up, seeing the other to do the same. "I guess it's lunch." She said. She rummaged in her backpack to see no sign of food.

"What's wrong?" Sky asked, seeing her trainer's mildly distressed movements. "I think we ran out of food." She answered. "What?! We're going to starve!" Emmy cried as she slithered around in a circle, panicked.

Sky and Zia watched her ridiculous dramatics. "Emmy, look around us." Zia told her. The Serperior stopped and looked around to see multiple trees littered with different fruits. "Oh." She stated, calming down.

Zia wasn't exactly the best climber and the trees were pretty tall, plus her two companions didn't have opposable thumbs. So, she called her next best bet. "Gunnar, help us out." Zia called as she released the Beedrill.

Gunnar flew in the air, stretching for a bit, before returning to the girl. "What do you need help with?" He asked, confused. "Can you cut down some of those fruits for us? We've run out of food." Zia asked him. He nodded and flew up to one of the trees.

Using his sharp drills he cut the stem off the fruits that connected them to the tree, making them fall. Zia caught them and put them down gently so they wouldn't break on the ground. After getting enough for a few days, Gunnar flew back down closer to the ground.

"Thanks, Gunnar." Zia said. "Sure, no pro-" He started but stopped, looking off to the side. "What's the matter?" She asked, concerned. He was quiet for a moment before flying off in the direction he was staring.

"Wait! Gunnar!" Zia shouted as she, along with Sky and Emmy, ran after the Beedrill. They continued after him for a few minutes until they broke into a clearing. Zia spotted Gunnar, but there was something else with him.

She looked closer and could tell it was another Beedrill, but this one was injured. Zia gasped and ran over, worried. It looks like it had gotten into a fight. Zia kneeled next to it and got out some of her medicine.

She gently sprayed it on the wounds of the Pokemon, seeing it wince a bit from the sting. "How'd this happen?" She asked. "I don't know. I just heard something and flew over here to find her." Gunnar explained, gesturing to the Beedrill.

Zia made a mental note to remember it's a she. "I guess we'll just have to wait until she wakes up." She said as leaned back, getting comfortable. Gunnar still looked on edge, which made Zia raise an eyebrow. She's never seen him this tensed up before.

Though, she just left him be and kept an eye on the female Beedrill, wanting to make sure her condition doesn't get worse.

After an hour or two of waiting, the injured Pokemon finally showed signs of waking up. Zia immediately sat up, as Gunnar, Sky, and Emmy did the same. Zia could see the female Beedrill was panicked once she realized there was unfamiliar presences around her.

However, Gunnar began to talk to her, and calming her down. She relaxed, but still looked a bit frightened. Whether it was because of Zia and the rest, or something else, they weren't sure yet.

Zia knew she wasn't going to be able to understand the injured Pokemon, given the fact that she doesn't have a strong connection to her, so she had to rely on her Pokemon to translate.
