Chapter 64: Champion League Stadium

After a short but tiring journey, Zia and the rest have finally made it to the Champion League Stadium. A place where many come to watch and see if the winner of the Indigo League can become the new champion, or at least how many of the Elite Four they can take down.

Zia could see a mile long line of people outside the stadium, all waiting to get inside and grab the best seats. Stopping a little ways away, she got out the note Goodshow gave her. She skipped the parts she's already read to herself and KC and went to the next section.

Once you arrive, there will be someone to escort you inside. This is done for your safety, as the crowd can get crazy and will bombard you. To avoid that, your escort will guide you through a secret entrance. Your escort will be Sam, he has a golden pokeball design on the sleeve of his shirt. I wish you luck.

"Now we just need to find this 'Sam'." Zia said as she looked around, still trying to stay out of sight of the crowd. She didn't want to take the chance of them crowding around her, she would never be able to get past them all.

They all looked around the area for him. "I think I found him." Emmy said as she gestured over to the side. There was a blonde teen sticking his head around the corner and turning his head back and forth, searching for something or someone. He was around the corner from the crowd, so they couldn't see him. Zia guessed he was trying to look secretive, but it wasn't really working out for him.

"How is he supposed to guide us to a secret entrance? Guy looks like he can't even keep a secret." KC muttered as they walked over to him carefully. Since they were behind him, he didn't even notice the group until they were a few feet away. "Excuse me, are you Sam?" Zia asked as he jumped, startled, and turned around.

He had aqua-green eyes that complimented the short blonde hair Zia noticed earlier. He was in his late teens, a couple years older than both KC and Zia. He suddenly grinned at them, showing off bright white teeth that could be described as perfect. Zia was a little taken aback, not expecting the jumpy male to look quite like this.

KC, however, didn't like it one bit. He noticed the surprised look from her and knew it was because of this guy's looks. He kept a straight face but stepped a little closer to Zia.

"That's me! Are you Zia?" He asked, tilting his head a bit. Zia smiled back and nodded. "Yes, I'm Zia. This is KC, Kirlia, Kaida, Emmy, and Sky." She introduced as Sam then grinned at all of them as well. "Nice to meet you, now follow me. I'll take you inside." He said and motioned them to follow with his hand before walking away.

The rest glanced at each other before walking after him. Sam led them to the back of the stadium. The thing was, there was no door back here. "So, where's this 'secret entrance'? I can't see anything." KC asked.

Sam laughed, that grin still on his face. "That's because you're not supposed to see it. It's secret, remember?" He said, grin turning into a smirk as he put his hand on a particular spot on the wall, pressing onto it.

Suddenly, a portion of the wall caved in and slid to the right, out of sight, leaving a hole big enough to walk through. They all peeked in in awe to see it was a well lit tunnel. "Clever, definitely a secret entrance." Sky stated as they walked inside it, Sam in the front. The wall closed behind them once they were all in.

The group continued traveling down the hall before coming to a door. Sam turned to them with a hand on the door handle. "Welcome to the Pokemon Champion Stadium, my lady." He said with a wink towards Zia, who blushed a bit making KC frown, and opened the door.
