Luke's POV
After eating, we sit down on a bench, not the one we were on yesterday though. That one had too many bad memories, [coughs] Brent.
"So, when are you going to ask her out?" Calum whispers to me, I'm glad that Becca is oblivious to the conversation.
"I'm gonna wait a few days so she doesn't think I'm a freak, meeting her one day and asking her out the next. You know what I mean?" I answer honestly.
"Yeah, I get you," Calum says, understanding. I'm glad I met Calum, he's such a great and understanding friend, full of humor and kindness. I'm not embarrassed to do anything or say anything with him even when I'm around other people, we're confident like that. Especially in front of Becca, our little dance gig and the twerking thing, I wouldn't do that if Cal wasn't around. It made Rebecca laugh, that's the good part.
"Luke," Becca snaps me out of my second trance. I really need to control the damn trances or whatever they're called. "Did you hear that?"
"What did you say? I'm sorry," I apologize. Cal and Becca shake their heads in acceptance and tell me what Becca said.
"We're going to the mall again," Becca says. I smile and take her hand in mine, gently, and we drive to the mall in Calum's white car.
"We're here," Calum says and parks into the crowded car park. I walk out of the car, I sat behind Becca, so I open her door before she can reach it and she smiles. "Love birds," Cal mutters, smirking at us.
Rebecca smiles at the store she found the white beanie as he was wearing at, we fought over her paying me back and eventually she did. I'm gonna give it to her though.
"I'll bet you five bikkies that was the last stuffed penguin we got," I say and point the the shop.
"Its a bet," She shakes my hand and rushes into the store in front of me, Calum and I running after her. I go over to where she is, she's holding stuffed penguin, identical to the one I got yesterday.
"Here you go," I say and hand her the five dollars she gave me. She takes it, lucky me.
"Why were you in a teenage boys store with Luke?" Calum asks suspiciously.
"Because I just was, I got this here," Becca says, pointing to the hat on her head. Calum nods and picks up a graphic tank top, holding it up for us to see.
"I can imagine you wearing that," I say. Becca nods and Calum shrugs, hanging it on his forearm and buying it. "Now we have to go to a shop you like," I say, turning to Becca.
"Like what?" She asks. We are walking past a few stores, one of them was Victoria's Secret. "What the hell is Victoria's... Nope," Becca laughs as she looks at the ads on the glass display window. Calum and I laugh along and walk to some other stores, the one we actually buy things in is Hollister.
"I can imagine you wearing this," Becca smirks at me, holding a familiar pair of sweats. I look down to the ones I'm wearing, identical.
"That's only because I am wearing them, Becca!" I laugh. Calum appears out of a dressing room with a whole Hollister outfit on, jeans, jacket, shirt, and sunglasses. He strikes a few poses for us and I laugh but applaud.
"Looking good!" Becca laughs, Cal chuckling.
"You should buy that," I say and point to his beach-like attire. Calum smiles and looks in the mirror again, nodding at us and changing back into his original clothes. I hold up a blue hoodie that I think would look good on Becca, she takes it out of my hands and admires it.
