Luke's POV

The next morning, I crawl out of bed and brush my teeth. I thread my fingers through my hair and change my clothes as well, to a pair of jeans and a grey/white t-shirt.

I just hope Becca decides to be with me again, I'll kill myself if she doesn't. Not really but I will be devastated.

I look at the time on my phone, which says 12. Gosh, I slept in late. I hop in my car and drive to the hospital, Becca's getting out tomorrow and that makes me excited. I'll have the chance to take her to nirvana, like she does to me every time she smiles.

I park in the car lot and jog to Becca's room after getting permission. She is asleep, but she is using earbuds so I assume she listened to music the whole night. I pick up her phone and see that it said she was listening to All My Heart by Sleeping With Sirens.

Her beautiful eyes flutter open and she smiles at me, sitting up straight and adjusting the collar of her Paramore t-shirt. I kiss her forehead and pull the chair up next to her.

"Do you think I should still try to take these?" She asks, grabbing the bottle of antidepressant pills.

"No, they're useless," I say. Becca nods and places them back onto the table. She sighs and looks at the door expectantly. Soon, I see why.

Lily comes in, holding some things to clean off her cuts and scars. "How are you?" She asks, both of us.

"Not hurting anymore," Becca says.

"Good," I say. That was meant for me, saying I'm good, but I am glad she's not in pain anymore. Lily nods and puts some rubbing alcohol on Bec's arms, then puts the things away and stands at my side.

"I have a sing you two might like," Lily smiles, pulling her phone from her pocket. I raise my brows as she plays a really catchy song, I recognize Reece Mastin's voice right away.

"This is Reece Mastin," I grin.

"Yeah, the song's called Girls (All Around The World)," Lily says. I am so buying this.

"This is really good," Bec agrees. I chuckle and buy the song, I download it onto her phone too.

I stay with Becca for as long as I can. At around 5, I have to go, so I kiss her forehead and walk out to my car. I drive out to Merveilleux Grille, I have some explaining to do for my absence.

"Luke, where were you?!" Fleur asks. "It's been days!"

"I'm really sorry, my wife and I are at a hard time and I could t find time to come here. I'll fill in if I have to, you don't even need to pay me, but please don't fire me," I beg. Fleur sighs, probably seeing the guilty frown on my face and the sadness in my eyes.

"I won't fire you. I'm still going to pay you but next time, remind me when you leave like that okay?" Fleur warns. I nod. "How long do you think you and your wife will be troubled for?"

"Not long, I might be able to come back in 2 days? I'll tell you of I can't," I shrug.

"Okay. Merci, bonsoir," Fleur waves and vets back to the kitchen.

"Bonsoir," I call and get back in my car. I drive to my parents house though, I want to see Pete and I'm hungry so I might find something to eat.

"Hey," Dad answers the door. I smile and walk inside, spotting Mum and Pete in the living room. I sit down next to her, but Dad goes upstairs.

"How is he?" I ask.

"Doing great," Mum says. "He cries a lot though. I think it's because he misses you." I smile and pick up the baby, cradling him in my arms comfortably. He grins and drops the stuffed bear he loves.
