Chapter Eighteen

Luke's POV

I sat down next to Becca on the wooden bench in the middle of the mall, I reach for her hand.

"Is it just me or did you see some love at first sight between Cal and Kris?" Becca asks. I definitely saw it.

"Oh yeah, big time," I say. "This is good for Cal, he'll get over Natally with Kristen and they'll be happy."

Becca nods and I kiss her hand softly, causing her to smile.

"PDA," she whispers, I chuckle but nod, too.  "So do you think Calum will ask Kristen out?" She adds

"Yeah, definitely. I had to go over what he would say 20 times," I say. Becca laughs.

"Well it's a great chance she'll accept, because she likes Calum already," Bec says. "She asked me if she looked good even though you were on the complete other side of the mall."

"Calum did too," I say, causing Becca to laugh harder. "So feminine, you know?"

Becca nods and I get a text, from Calum. Obviously.

*I asked her out* He sent, making me smile. I show Becca, she also smiles.

*Well?*

*She said yes :)*

*That's great!! Do u want us to meet you or do u want to be alone ;) XD* I laugh as I send it.

*Stay where you are* I laugh even more and turn off my phone.

"They want to be alone," I say, Becca raises her brows. "Lets walk around for a bit."

"Okay," Bec says and takes my hand. I smile again and stand up, walking up to the second level of the mall. Becca and I walk into a few stores, the teenage boy store included, and I text Calum again.

*How's it going with u 2?* I ask.

*Good u?* He sends quickly. I smile.

*Never been better :)* I say.

*U can meet us now if you want*

*Fountain* I send and walk Bec to the fountain in the center of the mall. In a few seconds, I see Calum walking with Kristen, to the fountain. I smile at them and gesture for them to sit down at the table, across from to Bec and I.

"Hey!" Becca says. Kristen grins and sits across from me, Calum across from Becca. He sends Becca a text, she shakes her head and makes Cal smile. The song on the radio is Salute by Little Mix, Kristen's face lights up so I assume she likes this song. Becca told me once, she and her friends were obsessed with Little Mix in college.

I get to know Kristen a little more, she's a really sweet girl. I can see why Calum likes her and why Becca was so happy when she saw Kristen down on the road.

We leave soon, Calum drives Kristen to her house and drives back to the hotel, parking far from the doors. I climb out of the Ford and walk across the parking lot, Becca and Cal on either side of me. I find myself in the middle of them all the time.

Anyway, I show that Sierra girl our keys and get into the lift, grasping Becca's hand. Calum smiles at us and we reach the second floor in about 2-3 minutes. Becca and I bid our goodbyes to Calum and go inside our room, plopping down on the bed. I sigh and check the time on my phone; 11:09.

I lay down on the bed, crossing my legs, next to where Bec is. She turns to face me completely, I smile and kiss her forehead. Becca scoots closer to me and I wrap my arms around her, her face buried in the crook of my neck. I change position so I'm hovering over Becca, earning a wide smirk. I duck my head down and capture her lips, lightly swiping my tongue on her bottom lip lovingly. She smiles and moves her lips with mine, tying her arms behind my neck.
