Becca's POV

I excuse myself and stand up, running upstairs and to my bathroom because I realise I hadn't brushed my teeth in a long time. I do, then hurry back downstairs. Ash is holding the tub of ice cream now, sharing the remaining of it with Calum.

"Busted!" I shout, They look up and grin, showing me that it's empty now. I laugh and sit back down next to Luke, Mike moved to sit on his other side. "Anyway, what did I miss?"

"Calum and Ashton took the ice cream and that's about it," Mike concludes. I nod.

They stay for many hours, leaving at close to midnight. I wave goodbye and yawn after I close the door. Luke picks me up bridal style and I cuddle into his chest, causing him to smile sheepishly. Before I know it, he lays down on the bed but didn't let go of me. I plant a kiss on his cheek and drift to sleep.

I wake up at the same time Luke does, he kisses my forehead sweetly.

"Morning love," he whispers.

"Morning Luke," I say. Luke sits up and tightens his grip on me, that's when I realize we are still in the position we were in last night. I smile to myself, laying my head on Luke's shoulder. He sighs and looks down at me, a crooked grin is plastered onto his lips. He lowers his head and presses his lips to mine, lingering for a minute. When he pulls away, his grin is covered with a frown.

"What's the matter?" I ask, carked.

"I want to apologize," Luke says. "That day when I found out you were pregnant, I freaked out and got all angry. Then I realized what just happened and I broke down, and I don't want that to ever happen again."

"It won't, Luke. I love you so much," I say and lean up to peck his lips.

"I love you too," he says. "To Pluto and back 74.5 times." He still looks upset though.

"Something's bugging you," I say. My brows furrow together as I wait for him to tell the truth. He bites his lip and picks his phone up off the nightstand.

"This," he says quietly, showing me the screen of his text messages.

*I love you*

*Are you sure about that?*

Oh.

Oops.

"I don't mean that," I say. "I know you love me and I love you as well, nothing can get in the way of that."

"But... You doubted it," Luke says.

"So?"

"So, I did something to hurt you and make you doubt how much I love you, Bec."

"Luke," I say, "I only said that because I wasn't too happy that you left. Nothing else, I promise. I loved you that day, despite all that happened, and still do," I confirm. Luke gives up on protesting, lucky me.

"Okay," he sighs simply. "I love you too." I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him tightly, but he surprises me by lifting me up in a different position. He holds me so that my stomach is in front of his face, and he cups his hands around his mouth.

Luke starts whispering things, but I don't hear any of it. When he pulls away, I giggle and kiss the top of his hair. I shift so that I'm not on his lap, but I stand up to brush my teeth. Luke follows me and runs a hand over his hair.

We brush our teeth quietly, and when I finish I check the time. It's 9:38. I pull open the closet doors and take some clothes off of colorful hangers, I pick out a pair of long grey sweats and a mint green sweater, fresh undergarments, and change in the bathroom after Luke exits. I peel off my dirty clothes and replace them with the newly picked ones, and I put on some chapstick for no apparent reason. It's the one I gave Ash to use the day that Brent went to the hotel, and I feel wrong because it's like kissing him but he's my best friend so it doesn't matter that much.
