Chapter Twenty

*Time Skip*

Luke's POV

I woke up on Monday morning at 10, my arms securely around Bec's waist. I smile and kiss her cheek before letting go of her to get dressed and brush my teeth. I grab clothes and make sure everything else is in my bag, then I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I close and lock the door and pull on black sweats and a t-shirt, run a hand over my hair, and open the door. My phone is on the charger, but the battery is 100% so I replace it with Becca's phone.

"Morning love," I say when I notice Becca's dark blue eyes flutter open. She yawns and sits up.

"Morning Luke," she says and gets up. She pulls clothes out of her suitcase and locks herself into the bathroom like I did earlier. My phone beeps, and it's from Mike.

*So your moving today?* He sent.

*Yeah, soon*

*Is it far away?*

*No, you can visit sometime. It's not like I'm moving to Canada, Mike*

*Lol, ik* We text for a little while, Becca exits the bathroom. She left her hair down, put on dark blue skinny jeans, a white singlet, and a plum colored crop top. She smiles when she sees me and sits next to me.

I turn off my phone, "I put your phone on the charger." Becca nods, going to see the percentage and it's only around 50%. I shove my phone into my back pocket and sigh. We're leaving at 12 and it's only 10:30. I double check my bag, making sure I have all my clothes and toothbrush inside. Which I do.

Becca made sure everything was in her suitcase last night, she placed her brush and toothbrush in the front pocket and zipped it shut. She stands up straight and sighs, grabbing the handle of her suitcase. I shake my head and take the suitcase, but she takes my bag. I playfully roll my eyes and gesture for her to follow me, I grab the keys to our room and she gets the car keys.

When we finally get to the lobby, I show Kelsee our keys and take Becca to the car, we put our things in the trunk. Then we go back into the lobby.

"Should we turn in our keys right now?" I ask Becca.

"Yeah, let's stop by Calum's place first," she says. I nod and grab her hand, leading her toward the elevator. When we get to the second floor (gradually), I lead Bec down the right hall and knock on Calum's door.

"Hey," he says when he opens the large door.

"Hi," Bec says. I lift my hand in an attempt to wave but it ends up being far from waving to him. Cal gets what I meant so he doesn't say anything but invites us inside. I sit down on the couch next to Becca, Calum stands in front of us.

"So your not moving far away are you?" He asks.

"No, it's only about 15 minutes," Becca says. Calum nods and checks his watch. "Kristen lives near the apartment," she adds, Cal smiles at the mention of Kristen. It's 10:45 now, we have an hour and 15 minutes until we leave.

"Is it okay if we stay here for the morning?" I ask.

"What time range?" He asks, he's talking about the date he has at 3.

"From now to 12," I say. Calum nods and sits down on his bed. He turns on his phone and clicks onto his music app, scrolling through the choices. He puts on a Shakira song, Empire. I love this song.

"I love this song," I speak my thoughts.

"Big surprise," Becca says sarcastically, so Cal and I chuckle. He puts the music on shuffle and plugs it into the charger, then turns to face Bec and me.
