Luke's POV
Becca sits next to me, "I do," She says, "I love it."
I smile down at her and kiss her forehead. When I pull away, she looks around and takes in her surroundings. The trees cleared out a large circle, there is a wild flower garden and a bench (the one we're sitting on), the stream runs beside the scene, adding the perfect sound; water trickling softly down the stones and the birds chirping every now and then. Can't you just imagine it?
"So I wanted to ask you something, but it's a bit random," I say.
"Shoot," Becca says.
"Last night when I left, did you think I was just leaving for no reason? Like if I needed a break?" I ask truthfully, I thought that was what she thought.
"Well, I didn't know what you were doing, or where you were going," Becca says. "I did think you were just going to think of more jokes at first but that left my mind as quickly as it came."
"And?" I ask.
"Honestly, I thought you were leaving, because I was being stubborn," Becca says.
"'Bipolar girl problems'," I quote, she laughs and shakes her head. "But seriously, I wouldn't leave you. Ever."
"Are you just saying that?" Becca asks, I can tell she's unsure.
"No, Bec. I love you and I would never leave you, in fear of Brent coming back to hurt you, you finding another guy, and you forgetting me. I would and never will leave you," I repeat, tilting her chin up so she's looking me in the eye. She starts fighting a smile, "What?" I ask.
"I don't do good with eye contact in serious moments," Becca admits, laughing. I chuckle. "I love you too, forever and always."
"To Pluto and back 74.5 times," I add. Becca smiles. I see her eyes flicker off of my eyes and to my lips, I smirk. I lick my lips to show her that I acknowledged that, she smirks right back and briefly pecks my lips before standing up.
"You have to catch me if you want to kiss me," Becca says. I raise my brows and stand up, as soon as I do she runs back in the direction of the car, giggling as I chase her.
I just barely touch her arm, she turns around for a few seconds to say, "Missed me, missed me, now you can't kiss me!"
"I believe the saying goes, 'now you gotta kiss me,' am I right?" I ask.
"I changed it for your sake," Becca laughs and runs again. I laugh along with her before chasing after her, the forest isn't dense anymore so it's easy to run. I get the advantages, too, I am taller and have sneakers on, but she still manages to outrun me. Once the sky is completely visible, and we're out of the forest, I catch up to Becca and she doesn't run away.
She smiles up at me, I duck down so my lips are level with hers, and she chuckles before wrapping her arms around my neck and we move our lips together, at the same pace. My hands snake their way to her waist, as usual. I bend down and lift her up so she's taller than me, not breaking the kiss though.
"How does it feel to be taller?" I ask in between kisses.
"Great," she chuckles and crashes her lips against mine again. She didn't move her arms an inch, but mine are just below her bum. A weird place, yes, but we don't mind.
I hear a laugh from far away, I turn my head to see who it was. An elderly woman is smiling on her porch (her house is the only one near the forest), looking over at us. I realize it must be a cool scene, two people kissing in front of a forest. I face Bec again and continue kissing her, she smiles into the kiss.
