Chapter Nineteen

Becca's POV

Calum is about to get into his car, but I shout his name and gesture for him to get in ours. He smiles and sits in the back, behind Luke.

"Where to?" Luke asks, adjusting the mirror.

"Arby's," Calum and I say at the same time, earning a high pitched chuckle from Luke. He turns the key in the ignition, and drives smoothly to Arby's.

"Drive thru or not?" Luke asks. I shake my head, so he turns into the half empty parking lot and parks, then we all get out of the car. Calum stands in between Luke and I as we walk inside the small rectangular building, then he orders our food for us willingly. I smile at how kind he is and sit next to Luke at a table made for 4. My phone buzzes right as Calum sits down, holding a tray.

*Hey* Ash sent. I smile and send him a text, taking a drink of coke.

*Hi* I send back, Luke looks over my shoulder to see who it is.

"Tell Ashton we say hey," Luke says, and continues eating. Calum nods, so I send Ash another text.

*Cal and Luke say hey*

*Hey again* I chuckle and tell Ash I have to go. Then I turn off my phone and eat lunch.

When we're all finished, I dump the leftovers in the trash and follow Calum and Luke to the doors. The cashier shouts a polite "Thanks for coming!" and we go to the car.

We end up at Ashton's place, with Mike as well, and Calum tells them about Kristen. They smile at him in the end, happy that he's moving on from Natally. Ashton suggests that we put on a movie so we do, all of us vote on watching 2 Cops.

When it ends, I lean back against the couch and sigh, that was a good movie and I'm glad I watched it with my friends. I feel weird that all except one of my friends are guys but I also feel lucky, because I met them.

Anyway, it's 3:00 exactly. We are sitting on the long couch, telling stories and jokes and whatnot. I just now realized that Ash was playing music the whole time, but it's quiet and drifting in the background so it didn't disturb the movie at all. I recognize the song as Classic by MKTO, it's really catchy and easy to hear the words so I know every single lyric.

Just as the song ends, Ash gets up to change it and I'm not surprised when he puts on Hot In Herre, I laugh at how he and Mike dance. Luke and Calum get up to dance too, and I groan when Mike pulls me up off the couch too. But I dance anyway.

"I see Luke taught you the Hemmo1996 dance," Ash smirks. What? I chuckle but shrug, that must be what they call it.

"Indeed," Luke says, laughing as we strike the last pose. I plop down onto the couch and exhale deeply while Ash fetches water for us. He comes back soon, holding 5 icy bottles of water and hands them to each of us. Luke opens mine out of instinct, making me smile but I take a drink and set the bottle down on the coffee table.

"So, the other day I walked in o-" Calum starts but Luke covers his mouth, making Ash give him a weird look.

"What?" Mike asks. I bite my bottom lip and bring my knees to my chest in embarrassment.

"On Luke and B-" Calum tries again, but Luke holds his other hand over his mouth, making it really hard to speak.

"On Luke and Becca?" Ashton smirks, his eyes wide.

"No!" Luke and I say at the same time, making Mike laugh loudly, Calum pulls away from Luke's hand and laughs with him.

"Calum!" I whine, "Look what you got us into!"
