Luke's POV

It was like I was temporarily depressed. Those last words Ashton said were like blades cutting deeply in my heart, they hurt me. Becca's probably with him now, happy that I'm gone.

Why did I just explode like that? Why did I get all angry? I know it is my fault, everything bad that happens is my fault and there's no denying it. I'm with Calum right now, he's on the phone with someone who I assume is Bec or Ash. He pulls the phone away from his ear and looks at it, a perplexed expression on his face. I continue sobbing my eyes out anyway.

"Come on, Luke," Calum says and kneels down next to me. I was crouched down in the corner of his hotel room, knees pressed against my chest. "Cheer up, mate, she'll be back."

"What did I ever do to make her want to come back?" I ask.

"You were there for her. You saved her, protected her, loved- and still do- her," Calum says wisely. I stay quiet, because I still think I ruined all for us. Bec will never be back, she will avoid me and get together with Ash or whoever.

"Is... is she s-still with Ashton?" I ask.

"Yeah," Cal says quietly, looking down. "Do you want to be alone? I can call Ash and see if I could hang out with him, if you want."

I nod and Calum picks his phone up again, calling Ash. He waves to me, saying he'll be out with Ash. I stay huddled in the corner for the few hours that they're gone.

At like 4 o'clock, Calum rushes inside with a horrified expression on his face, he jerks me up by my hand and leads me outside.

"What the hell is the matter?" I ask, confused.

"It's Becca, sh-she cut," He says. She... cut? I stop dead in my tracks, tears falling onto the floor again. I bang a fist against the wall and run down the stairs, the elevator is too slow. Calum follows close behind and we get into his car soon, driving to the hospital. It's more than just a few paper cuts.

"Hurry!" I say. Calum speeds up, luckily we're the only ones in the lane at the moment so nobody can tell. We park at the hospital and run inside.

"Where's Rebecca James?" Calum asks the man at the desk.

"Family?" He asks.

"Uh yeah," I say and he gives us instructions. Cal and I run down hall and slam the white door open. Becca lays there on the bed, a long bloody bandage on her wrist. Ashton is standing next to her, he's full on crying, Mike sits in a chair across from the bed. He looks up and gestures for Cal and I to come up to them.

"When?" Calum asks, biting his lip. "When did you get her here?"

"A few minutes ago," Ash says. Although she's asleep, a tear slides down Becca's cheek and I feel my knees buckle. Mike notices and stands up, holding me up. "I told Mike everything, I hope you don't mind," Ash says, looking at me cautiously. I shake my head and sigh. Calum moves next to Ash, his eyes glaze over.

Mike sits me down in the chair, noticing how weak I am at the sight of Becca like this. Her eyes flutter open and she gasps, sitting up. I look down so I don't have to see her so torn up.

"Becca," Ash says. "Are you okay?"

"Of course she's not okay!" I say a little too loudly. Ash widens his eyes at me, his brows furrow together and I shake my head apologetically.

"Luke," Becca whispers. I offer a small smile, but it quickly disappears. My lips tremble and I look back down. "Luke," she repeats. Calum pulls on Ashton's arm, then he gestures for Mike to follow them to the hall. I stand up and walk over to Bec's side.
