Luke's POV
"I've started working on a song guys" I said to Calum and Michael, "You have? What's it about?" Michael asked, "Monica" I answered truthfully, the boys new how I felt towards her anyway so there was no point in lying to them, "Awh! Once you finish writing it we should try and get a gig or something and we could sing it and you could look into her eyes and maybe she'll realise its about her" Calum said, "Maybe" I said chuckling.
"Lets do a cover of Ed Sheeran Lego House" Michael suggested, "Sure, lets begin" Calum said setting the camera up.
Calum began the bass, Michael and I started strumming and we began singing and, for once, not forgetting the lyrics.
"Someone commented 'I think this band could go far if they stopped fooling around' oh my god how inconsiderate are they?" Michael said laughing, I chuckled and shook my head, "Does anyone need a drink?" I asked, "Yeah i'll have coke" Calum said, "Me too" Michael said, I nodded and went to grab everyone a can of coke.
"Luke your phone is ringing" Michael shouted, "Answer it for me, i'll be in in a second" I shouted back, "Okay" he yelled before answering my phone.
Monica's POV
"Luke?" I said, "Its Michael, Luke will be in in a minutes, he's getting us drinks" Michael said, I giggled, "You have bitched poor Luke" I said giggling some more, "Well someone is feeling better" Michael said, I sighed, "Not really, I'm just trying to take my mind off him, that's why I called, I wanted to know if you guys wanted to go somewhere" I said, "Yeah we'll come out, just come over to Luke's just now" he said, "Okay, see ya in five minutes" I said, "Bye Monica" he said, I smiled and hung up, putting my shoes on and grabbing my phone.
It's been a week since Ashton and I 'broke up'. He's been texting me saying he was sorry and that he made a mistake but I ignored him. I wasn't taking his bullshit.
I made my way downstairs and saw my mum smiling at me, "What are you smiling at?" I asked giggling, "Im so happy to see you and Luke are friends again Monica" she said, I smiled, "Im happy too" I said, "And I'm sorry about Ashton, I know he meant a lot to you, and I know you really liked him" she said, I nodded, "But there will be other guys, and as much as it pains me to say it, one day you'll find the guy you're going to spend the rest of your life with, and might be closer than you think" she said, I giggled, "Okay mum, bye, love you" I said as I left the house and walked across the road to Luke's house.
I knocked on the door and Luke's mum answered, "Is Luke and Calum and Michael there?" I asked, "Yeah, they're in Luke's room" she said as she moved aside and let me in, I made my way to Luke's room and saw the three of them sitting on Luke's bed talking about their band.
"I think you guys need a drummer" I said, everyone turned around and smiled at me, "You know, Monica might be right, a drummer would be good" Calum said, "Yay! Well done my little harmonica" Michael said laughing, I giggled and shook my head, "Harmonica? That's new" I said giggling even more, "Yeah, well Monica is too mainstream" he said, I chuckled and sat down, "No, but seriously I think you guys should get a drummer for your band" I said, "But who?" Luke asked, "I only know one drummer, sorry" I said, "What drummer do you know? We could use him" Luke asked, "Ashton" I mumbled, "He plays drums?" Luke asked, "Yeah" I said, "Oh, we really need a drummer" Calum said, "We're not using Ashton" Luke said at the same time I said "You're not using Ashton"
"But we need a drummer, and no one knows any other drummers" Calum said, "He's still one of my mates" he added, "I don't care. There is no way Ashton is coming anywhere near me or Monica" Luke said, "It was just a suggestion" Calum said, "Look guys, stop arguing" Michael said, "Can we just go out somewhere?" I asked, "Like where?" Calum asked, I shrugged, "I just want something to take my mind off Ashton" I stated, "And this isn't helping" I added.
"Lets go bowling?" Michael asked, "Im gonna kick your asses at bowling" I stated giggling, "You're on Monica, bet you I beat you" Luke said, "Okay, if I win you have to whatever I say and if you win I have to do whatever you say, for a full day" I said as we shook on it.
