Monica's POV
"I'm what?" I asked, "Pregnant, about a month along" he said, Luke's face went chalk white, along with mine, "I, I can't be pregnant, I'm only 17" I said, my hands were shaking, my whole body was numb, Luke took my hand, "I'll leave you two alone for a minute to talk or whatever, i'll be outside" he said leaving.
"Luke what are we gonna do? We're only 17, we can't be parents! I don't even know how to look after myself let alone a baby" I said, Luke quietened me with a kiss, "Shh. We'll get through this Monica" he said, "I can't believe this Luke, we're only 17 and we're going to be parents! How am I gonna tell my mum? And my dad? Oh my god, your band, your fans" I babbled on and on, "Monica, stop stressing about this, we'll make it work, I promise, I love you and you love me and we will make this work" Luke said, I inhaled and exhaled, breathing deeply, "I can't actually believe I have a baby growing inside of me" I said after I had calmed down a little.
"I know, that's so weird" Luke said, I giggled as the doctor came in, "Everything okay now?" he asked, we nodded, "Well you're free to go now, you'll have to go for a scan every couple of months but you can do that at your local hospital" he said, we nodded as we left.
"How are we gonna tell everyone else?" I asked, Luke shrugged as we got in a taxi.
I was pregnant.
I had a baby growing inside of me.
An actual real life baby.
We got to the bus and I gulped, Luke took my hand and looked at me, "Together" he said, I smiled, "Together" I said nodding as we walked inside.
"So did you guys find out what was wrong with Monica?" Calum asked, everyone was sitting there, Calum, Ashton and Michael, and of course Luke and I, "Uh, yeah" Luke said nervously, "What's wrong with her then?" Ashton asked, "Im just gonna come out and say it, I, I'm pregnant" I said quickly.
Everything fell silent.
"You're pregnant?" Michael said, I nodded, "You can't look after a baby! You can't even look after yourself" Michael said, I giggled, "Thats exactly what I said" I said, "So this is actually real" Ashton said, I nodded, "Wow, I can't believe it" Calum said, "I have to tell my parents" I said, "I don't know how I'm gonna do this" I added, "You'll be fine" Michael assured me, "No I won't! Im my parents only child! Im only 17 years old and Im touring the world and oh, not to mention I'm fucking pregnant" I said, tears streaming down my face.
"I can't be pregnant. Im just a child myself" I said, Luke pulled me into his chest and soothed me, "We'll all help you Monica" Calum said, "Yeah, of course we will" Michael said, "Its just, my mum and dad could either take this really well or really bad, and not to mention your fans, you'll have to tell them, and how will they react? We're 17! 17 years old" I said, Luke sighed, "Shh Monica, it will be fine" Luke said, "How can you say that? We're going to have a baby together! An actual real life baby! It's going to be our baby! We're not just babysitting it for a while then we give it back to its mother, this will be our baby" I said.
"Monica stop worrying about everything, I said we'll make it work and we will, somehow" Luke said, I sighed, how was he taking this so easily?
"I'm gonna call my parents" I mumbled, going to the bunks and pulling out my phone.
"Hey honey, how are you?" my mum asked, "Mum, is dad with you?" I asked, totally ignoring her question, "Yes, why?" She asked, "Can you put the phone on speaker, I have to tell you both something" I said, "Yeah give me a second" she said, I waited, "Okay, you're on speaker, what's wrong honey?" she asked, "Mum, dad, I, Im pregnant" I said.
"Pregnant, huh, I was not expecting that" my dad said, I felt Luke sit next to me and pull me on to his lap, trying to comfort me, "Yeah, I found out today. I'm about a month along" I said, my mum sighed, "We're happy for you and Luke honey, are you happy with Luke?" my mum said, "Yes mum, we're really happy, I'm just really scared" I admitted, "It is scary, trust me, but as long as you have the right people around you, then it's so much better" she said, "Okay mum, bye dad, bye muM, I love you" I said, "We love you too" she said hanging up.
"I'm gonna call my parents" Luke said, I nodded and left him, I went to the sitting room where the boys were sitting.
"How did your parents take it?" Michael asked, "They actually took it really well, they said they're happy for me, why does it seem everyone is taking this well, except me?" I asked, "Because you're too busy looking at the negative side of it instead of the positive" Ashton said, "I guess" I said, "Just let yourself be happy about it Monica, it's a great thing" Michael said, "I just think I'm too young to be a mum, I'm only 17" I said, "Forget about your age, forget about what everyone else is gonna think, if you're happy with Luke and you're happy with having a family with Luke then fuck what everyone else is gonna say about it Monica" Michael said, I smiled, "Michael you're the best" I said hugging him.
"My mum is so happy, so is my dad" Luke said coming out from the bunks, I pulled back from Michael and smiled, "Thats great" I said, Luke came and sat next to me, "I still can't believe this, what about your fans?" I said, "As long as I have you, it doesn't matter what they say" Luke said, "We should do a twitcam and tell them" Calum said, "Yeah, we should" Luke said, "Monica, are you okay with that?" Luke asked, I nodded as they all tweeted about it and set it up.
