Aleks' POV

I was hauling in things from the grocery store when I heard Seamus talking on the phone in the other room.

"I'm sorry I didn't come see Gray. You know how Ashley doesn't like me around you guys... I'm sorry! But I love you both too much to give either of you up. I'm afraid right now, I'm going to lose both of you guys... Thank you, I'll be over soon. Goodbye, Jade."

He hung up, then walked in and I pretended like nothing had happened. Seamus surprisingly started helping me unpack the groceries. Lately he's been kind of an asshole.

"I'm going to have dinner at Jade's tonight. If things go well, I can get out of your hair." He told me.

"You don't have to leave if you don't want to. I'm fine with you staying. It's actually for the best. I've been... Lonely, since Taylor left." I painfully admitted.

"The guys and I are always here for you. You know that!" He reassured me as he stuck something in the fridge.

"Goes both ways." I replied. "Sooo, this business with Crissy... Is that kid yours?"

Seamus sighed. "I don't know. I mean, the dates do match up, but she was a major slut in high school. If she wants a test, I'll do it."

"I don't doubt that, but if the kid is yours? What then?"

"Then I take care of him, just like I would if Ash and I had a son or daughter." He said.

"Good for you, man. Better get going. It's a bit of a ways up to Jade and Harley's cabin." I responded.

He nodded. "Yeah, yeah I better."

Jade's POV

The baby is still so tiny! It's only been a week since we brought him home, but it feels like we've already had him forever. I love this little munchkin!

I was busy watching him, along with Ella and Carolyn, while Harley made dinner. She claims I'm spending more time with Gray because I'm overly happy to finally have a boy. I love all my children equally and I spend just as much time with the other ones!

"Dad, are you feeling okay?" Ella strangely asked.

I raised an eyebrow at her. "Yeah, why?"

"You're acting weird." She said. "You never spend time with us when mom's not around."

I sighed, looking over my shoulder to make sure Harley wasn't close. "Your mother said I don't spend time with you guys anymore and I realized she was right, so I'm sorry."

"Sorry enough to get me backstage passes for the Black Veil Brides concert in a few weeks?" She asked, like a typical teenager.

I huffed. "Fine, I'll call CC tomorrow morning. By the way, your uncle is coming over for dinner tonight, and if you want to keep those backstage passes, you'll be nice to him."

"Fine." Ella groaned, crossing her arms.

She went back to watching the TV and Carolyn laughed. That little one is just like her mother!

I heard the doorbell ring, and I stood up to get it, with Gray still in my arms. Seamus smiled when I opened the door, looking over the baby.

"He looks just like you." He spoke as he walked in, throwing his jacket on the coat rack.

"I hope that's a good thing." I laughed.

"It is." He replied. "Better than him looking like me."

"Thank God for that." I joked, flashing him my smile.

We walked into the kitchen, where Harley had just finished making dinner. She greeted Seamus, then gave me a kiss and took the baby upstairs for a nap.

Dinner was nice, nicer than it's been for a while. Seamus was oddly back to his old self, and he wasn't being an asshole. Maybe he's putting up a mask, so we'll put a roof over his head, or maybe being away from Ash has made him less irritable.

At some point I did offer him the guest bedroom, but he turned it down. He said something about being with Aleks that I didn't quite catch. After he had left, the girls went up to bed, so it was just Harley and I.

Where is that sexy trouble maker? She must've wondered off while I was cleaning off the table.

I walked upstairs, following the sound of her soft voice. It lead me to the nursery, where she sat in a rocking chair with Gray in her arms.

"Well, there's daddy." She grinned, looking up at me. "We were just talking about you."

I walked around the chair, leaning over the back of it and wrapping my arms around her neck. "Hm, what about?"

"Just what a good father you are." She said.

"Ah, I see, well Gray you should know, you also have a fantastic mother. She's way better than me, I can tell you that!" I spoke, to which she hit my arm.

"Don't tell him lies!" She scolded.

"Don't teach him violence this early on!" I responded, rubbing my arm where she hit me. "Love not war."

"Why don't I put him to bed, and you show me some of that love?" Harley teased.

I devilishly grinned. "Sounds like a plan."
