Kına
The night before the wedding Fatiha, they had the traditional Turkish Kına (henna).
Similar to the bachelor or bachelorette party, the bride-to-be and her loved ones will participate in Henna Night, or Kına Gecesi the night before the wedding. This tradition dates back centuries, and they'll apply henna to the bride's palm and groom's pinky finger while playing customary folk songs. The belief of this practice is that it will ward away evil, and a gold coin is placed in the bride's hand by one of the family's elders to symbolize being protected from misfortune. During this night, the bride will also be placed in a chair while her loved ones try to make her cry with ballads, as a way to move on from her life before marriage. Once the tears are shed, the night becomes much more cheerful with dancing.
They had real fun during the event, both the youngsters and the adults danced away the night while playing traditional Turkish songs.
Layla wished her grandmother was there, but she was too ill to fly to Nigeria. So, she was left with a few relatives. She really misses her Nene.

Layla was so nervous, the wedding fatiha is taking place in the central mosque right now. She kept playing with her ring while everyone else is eating, talking and many more things. Ya Meena came in and told them that the wedding is official which made Layla teared. Ya Meena hugged her and told it's gonna be alright.
The girls in the room started teasing her which made her blush. She heard her phone beeped, she checked and it was Muhammad.
Alhamdulillah, May Allah bless our union. Can't wait to see you, Mrs Muhammad Yerima❤️
Layla felt her heart ached. She's now someone else's wife, she's not free to do whatever she likes, she won't go out without permission from her husband. Right in time Ya Meena came and sat next to her baby sister and gave her a side hug which made lalya cry. ''Ağlama, Don't cry, Layla''
Ya Meena and Ibty managed to console her. Her makeup was done by Dazeita, she told her to look at the mirror and she did.
''Wow, Millie, I look amazing. Thanks much''
''You are welcome Layla and congrats." She gave her a quick hug. She wore a beautiful cream french lace with blue flower petals, fati tied her gele and wrapped her with a matching veil. Pictures were taken by Artilary studio.
Norah came in and told them that the groom and his friends are here. Layla started to get nervous. She kept muttering 'innalillahi' in her mind. She came out of her room and went downstairs, she kept getting all sorta blessings on her way. She asked norah where they are
''They are in daddy's living room''
Layla and her friends went to daddy's living room, she used her right leg to enter. She saw her husband and his friends seated. Muhammad stood up immediately he saw Layla enter, he wore a white khaftan and a matching Zanna Bukar cap. She walked to him and gave him her hand to shake but instead he hugged her which made everyone all 'aww'
''Congratulations." He whispered in her ear.
''You too." She replied, blushing.
The groomsmen congratulated her, all she kept doing was blushing. Ibty came and told her to go and change her clothes for the photo session. Muhammad pecked her on her cheek before she left the living room, all her friends made sure they capture everything on camera, so do the photographer.
She and ibty reached her room, she slipped out of the lace she was wearing. "Ooh ibty, I gotta pee." She said, skipping to the bathroom.
She came out and slipped into a beautiful yellow atamfa, ibty helped her tie the matching yellow head. She put on a matching earring and a bracelet. "I am thirsty." She said as she picked a bottle of water from the dressing table.
