you're waiting for him to finish filling up his car at the gas station and he leans against your open window.
"this might take a while." he sighed.
"that's okay." you said as you smiled up at him, resting your elbows on the window besides his hands.
he took off his sunglasses and attached them to the neck of his t-shirt before looking down at you with his whiskey-brown eyes.
"so what do you say we ditch this family dinner we're going to and go on a road trip instead?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
your lips twitched into a smile, "i'd love that."
"great." he smirked as he leaned down towards you and pressed his lips against yours, you could feel him smiling as he kissed you.
"you already had this planned didn't you?" you laughed as he pulled away.
he shrugged before putting his sunglasses back on, "maybe..."
